Requirements:

- 5+ years experience in SW development on Node.js stack);

The Role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help us build robust visibility into the heart of our logistics integrations. You will design systems that allow us to detect disruptions in carrier APIs, warehouse data feeds, and transportation networks before they impact customers.

What You’ll Do

• Instrument Node.js/TypeScript services with logs, metrics, and traces.
• Monitor APIs, queues, and ETL pipelines connecting carriers, warehouses, and retailers.
• Build dashboards showing delivery latency, error rates, anomalies, and transaction throughput.
• Detect and alert on failed carrier updates, delayed data feeds, and mismatched inventory.
• Implement proactive monitoring to reduce shipment delays and minimize business impact.
• Automate observability patterns to onboard new logistics providers quickly.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot data flow disruptions.
• Conduct root cause investigations and recommend improvements.
• Enhance runbooks and playbooks for faster response to operational issues.
• Build reusable observability templates for new integrations.
• Automate anomaly detection and data validation for high-volume logistics pipelines.

• Empower developers and operations with self-service monitoring tools.

   

What We’re Looking For

• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js (with experience instrumenting backend systems).
• Hands-on expertise with monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, ELK/Loki, or similar).
• Knowledge of data anomaly detection and validation pipelines.
• Familiarity with APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and async messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in SQL for analyzing and investigating data issues.
• Scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or Terraform).

- Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and deploy secure smart contracts for fintech and DeFi applications
• Lead smart contract design decisions focusing on robustness, auditability, gas efficiency, and resilience against vulnerabilities
• Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and establish best practices in blockchain security and testing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, product, compliance, and security) to align smart contract features with project goals

  Support integration of on-chain solutions with off-chain systems (databases, APIs, wallets, and payment rails)

- Qualifications

• Solid understanding of tokenomics, DeFi mechanisms, and fintech applications
• Strong testing and CI/CD workflow skills; experienced with Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, or similar tools
• Proven track record of writing secure contracts, familiarity with vulnerabilities (reentrancy, integer over/underflow, front-running, flash loans, etc.)
• Experience with audits, formal verification, fuzz testing, or other advanced contract assurance techniques

- Bonus Points

• Experience across multiple EVM chains or Layer-2 / sidechains
• Knowledge of cross-chain bridges, oracles, and token design
• Contributions to open-source security tooling, audits, or published smart contract code
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying smart contracts (Solidity / EVM-compatible) in production is BIG PLUS
