Mission of this role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who loves turning insights into ads that perform. In this role, you are responsible for researching, scripting, and validating ad concepts across multiple markets. You make sure that at least 10% of your ads are winners (hitting client KPIs with €1K+ spend).

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Editors, and Creators. You don’t have to speak to clients, we’ve got PMs for that, but you own the process from research to final ad review.

Your responsibilities

Creative Research & Ideation

• Research competitors, trends, and best-performing ads to fuel new concepts
• Translate insights into ad frameworks and creative directions

Scriptwriting & Creative Development

• Write scripts for UGC-style ads (EN, NL, DACH, with translators where needed)
• Approve or reject creators sourced by the team based on fit with scripts
• Review final edits to ensure quality and strategy alignment

Data & Performance Analysis

• Analyze ad account data and spot patterns for new creative directions
• Work with PMs to track performance and iterate on concepts
• Document learnings to improve the team’s overall hit rate

Process & Collaboration

• Use Asana, Notion, Slack, and Drive to manage all work
• Communicate proactively and keep the team aligned
• Continuously suggest better processes for faster and higher-quality output

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 year experience as Creative Strategist, Copywriter, or UGC Ad Scriptwriter
• Proven track record of writing ad scripts that spend €40K+ (preferably in e-commerce)
• Strong data analysis skills: can turn numbers into creative insights
• Fluent in English (spoken + written) — other languages are a plus
• Growth mindset, speed, ownership, problem-solving, proactive communication
• Comfortable working remotely with international teams
• Bonus: experience with Meta Ads Manager or multi-market ads

Responsibilities

Component Selection

• Select components based on required technical parameters and mission constraints

Firmware Development & Adaptation

• Build firmware from source for specific camera chipsets; disable unused modules to reduce load and improve boot time
• Configure H.264/H.265 video encoder parameters for optimal balance of image quality, bitrate (radio/fiber transmission), and minimal latency — critical for FPV applications
• Configure, modify, and maintain flight controller firmware (Betaflight, ArduPilot) per hardware and mission requirements
• Write low-level MCU code; manage peripheral devices (sensors, ESCs, radio receivers)
• Optimize system performance to ensure minimal latency and high update rates for precise control

Integration

• Develop or implement bidirectional communication between devices and the flight controller (UART, SPI) for telemetry and OSD data overlay
• Program logic to embed FC data (battery voltage, flight mode, RSSI) directly into the video stream of digital VTX systems
• Integrate and optimize analog and digital video transmission systems for minimum latency and maximum signal quality

Testing & Debugging

• Build and test prototypes
• Test systems under high vibration and extreme temperature conditions
• Monitor resource consumption and optimize code to prevent overheating or in-flight freezes
• Run simulations to validate new solutions prior to deployment
• Plan and conduct flight tests for data collection, issue identification, and final tuning
• Debug hardware interfaces and perform electrical-level diagnostics

Documentation

• Maintain technical documentation, setup guides, and maintenance instructions for all developed systems

About the Role

The Chief Designer holds ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity, reliability, and innovation of the rocket system — from concept through flight testing. This is a position for an engineering leader who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to manage a team and drive a complex project to completion.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy and system architecture; approve key design decisions
• Lead conceptual and detailed design processes; coordinate subsystems (propulsion, avionics, structures)
• Drive adoption of innovative technologies and materials to improve performance and reduce costs
• Lead and mentor the engineering team: task allocation, quality control, and professional development
• Plan project schedules, manage technical risks, and report status to senior leadership
• Develop and approve ground, bench, and flight test programs, including success criteria
• Oversee subsystem integration, analyze test results, and make critical design decisions
• Ensure complete design and operational documentation; maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Requirements

• Higher technical degree in aerospace engineering, rocket engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in the design and development of rocket or aerospace systems
• Strong knowledge of subsystem design principles: propulsion, avionics, and structural engineering
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and full-cycle technical projects
• Solid understanding of testing, validation, and certification processes for complex systems
• Willingness to travel: test range in Kyiv Oblast and production sites across Ukraine
