Our team has been building the technical part of this product from the very beginning. We have already started working with companies with more than 1000 employees.
We are looking for a mature, challenge-driven engineer to reinforce our team and help us build a high-quality product. The project is growing and dynamic and affects the salaries of thousands of people across Brazil.
From the back-end perspective, the product is:
- A service-oriented system that operates inside the Kubernetes cluster
- All the services are written in Node.js, except one built using Ruby on Rails
- API for mobile and web applications
- Third-party Integrations with popular SaaS platforms and partners
Requirements
Must have
- Experience with Node.js and Ruby on Rails
- Experience in designing and developing scalable systems
- Experience in relational databases, ex. PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of Javascript. Experience with Typescript would be a plus.

- Research and evaluate new technologies or vendors (e-signature, bank partners, KYC/KYB, ACH providers, AI tools) and propose suitable solutions.

- Review system architecture, merchant processing flows, and API documentation to ensure alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.

Process Optimization
- Map existing workflows (underwriting, boarding, risk review, agent payouts, settlement, residuals).

- Work closely with Operations, Risk, Support, and Integrations teams to understand gaps and improve overall system performance.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
