About this role

Think of this as an internal-entrepreneur role with an engineer's hands. CareerOS is partnering with a fast-growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce company running two brands -men's hair care and pet wellness, across the US, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and the UK. They run lean and fast, and across the company people lose hours every day to manual, repetitive work: copying prompts between tools, re-uploading assets, pulling ad numbers by hand. 

Your job is to find that friction wherever it lives and build it away.

You'll embed with every business unit — creative, operations, performance marketing, and leadership (including the CFO and CMO) — learn how they actually work, and turn their biggest bottlenecks into AI-powered tools and automations. 

You own the full loop: spot the problem, build the tool, ship it, watch people use it, make it better. No detailed specs and no tickets handed down — you translate business problems into working software, and you measure success in hours saved and output gained.

This role is for a technical operator who builds internal competitive infrastructure. It's a hands-on building role — not a strategy-deck role, not research, not "prompt engineering." Real software that real teams depend on.
 

What you'll do

• Embed with business units — sit with editors, creative strategists, ops, and marketing to map how they work and find where time is being wasted.
• Build and ship internal tools, continuously — AI-powered creative-analysis dashboards, automated ad-script generators, workflow tools that replace multi-step manual processes, and integrations that connect existing platforms.

• Strong stakeholder skills — you gather requirements by talking to non-technical people across the business, not from a ticket board.

The Role

We're looking for a full-stack engineer to help build the services that power CareerOS. You're a few years into your career, you ship solid work, and you're ready to level up fast — this is a role you grow into.

You'll own whole features from database to API to UI, with the team backing you up. You'll work directly with the squad lead and product owner responsible for the domain - in the room when decisions get made, with real input on what we build. And because we deploy continuously, the code you merge today is live for real users today.

What You'll Actually Do

• Ship full features, end-to-end — schema design, API, and the React UI on top. You own the vertical, with support when you need it.
• Work with data — write real queries, design schemas, reason about migrations.
• Build across the stack — backend-focused, but you'll ship real frontend in React/TypeScript too.
• Help move our Go services to Node — read existing Go to understand the logic, rebuild it cleanly in TypeScript with time. (You won't write new Go.)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Node.js / Python Developer to join us long-term and take ownership of a production WhatsApp automation platform used by real customers.

You will work on two interconnected systems:

• A multi-account WhatsApp messaging platform with scheduling, personalization, real-time monitoring, and campaign management.
• A device automation platform that manages Android emulators, account lifecycle, automation flows, and integrations.

This is a long-term role focused on product development, system reliability, and building new features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production Node.js and Python applications.
