Jobs at Djinni

Kraków, Poland. Hybrid — 2 days per week from the office.
Own Caliente's data lake — the system of record for millions of financial events a day (bets, wallet movements, live odds) across 12M+ active users. You decide how that data lands, is stored, retained, and governed on S3 + Snowflake/Databricks, so analytics, finance, and regulators all see accurate, reconciled data with zero drift from source.

Kraków, Poland. Hybrid — 2 days per week from the office.

What you'll be doing

• Own the lakehouse architecture: bronze/silver/gold layers, Iceberg/Delta tables, schema evolution.
• Land operational data via CDC streaming (Kafka, Debezium), handling late and duplicate events.
• Design data layout for speed and cost: partitioning, compaction, file sizing, query performance on Trino/Athena/Snowflake.
• Own retention and archival: storage tiering, regulatory retention, immutability, GDPR deletion.
• Guarantee correctness: freshness SLAs, drift detection, reconciliation against the source wallet and ledger systems.
• Own governance: catalog and lineage, row/column access control, PII masking, encryption, audit trails.
• Monitor ingestion health, data anomalies, and cloud storage/compute spend.

Must-have

• Lakehouse architecture — bronze/silver/gold layering, an open table format (Iceberg, Delta, or Hudi), schema evolution.
• Data layout & query optimization at TB+ scale — partitioning, compaction, file sizing, query performance on Trino/Athena/Snowflake.
• Cloud lakehouse/DWH in production — Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• CDC & streaming ingestion — Kafka + Debezium or equivalent; late, duplicate and out-of-order events.
• Strong SQL and data modeling — enough relational grounding to reason about the OLTP systems you capture from. Critical for financial ledgers.
• Correctness — freshness SLAs, drift detection, reconciliation against source wallet/ledger systems.
• Governance — catalogs, lineage, row/column access control, PII masking, retention, GDPR deletion.
• Cloud object storage — S3 or GCS, plus storage tiering and archival.
• Python and an orchestrator — Airflow or Dagster, as tools.

Nice to have

• Fintech, iGaming, or another regulated, audit-heavy environment.
• Cost monitoring / FinOps for storage and compute spend.
• Hudi specifically; Dagster specifically.
• Immutability / WORM regulatory retention.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer with strong experience in performance marketing, ideally with a background in Fintech, Trading, Crypto, or similar products.

You’ll work on a mix of performance creatives and more polished branded videos — sometimes following strict brand guidelines and detailed briefs, sometimes moving fast and testing new ideas for paid campaigns.

AI is already a big part of our production workflow, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable combining traditional motion design with modern AI tools and more advanced prompting.

Your day-to-day:

• Create motion ads for Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and other paid channels
• Produce both performance creatives and branded videos
• Work with motion graphics, editing, stock footage, AI-generated visuals, VO, music, and sound design
• Turn briefs and scripts into strong visual executions
• Create iterations and variations based on performance results
• Research competitors, visual trends, and new creative approaches
• Test new AI tools and workflows that can make production faster or better
• Work closely with Creative Producers, UA managers, and other designers

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional Motion Design experience
• Strong portfolio with solid animation and editing skills
• Experience creating creatives for performance marketing is a must
• Experience in Fintech, Trading, Crypto, Banking, or similar niches is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of After Effects, including its core 3D tools
• Experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Media Encoder
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Higgsfield (Seedance 2.5), Google Flow (Veo 3), Nano Banana, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar
• Good prompting skills, including experience with more complex image and video generation
• Strong understanding of composition, animation, typography, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work both from strict brand guidelines and with limited visual references
• Basic understanding of performance metrics such as CTR, CPA/CPI, Hook Rate, and Hold Rate
• English B1+

Nice to have:

• Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, or any other 3D software
• Experience combining AI, 3D, and traditional motion design
• Experience with automation or AI-assisted creative workflows

What we offer:

• Part-time / freelance work with a flexible schedule, and the option to go full-time later
• Work with strong digital products across Fintech, mobile apps, Health & Fitness, Education, and Entertainment
• A mix of branded and performance-focused projects
• Access to a wide range of stock, AI, and creative tools
• Freedom to test new tools and production approaches
• Minimal bureaucracy and no unnecessary meetings
• Fully remote work
• Collaboration with experienced Creative and UA teams

Contact us if you're:

• Are proactive, efficient, and highly attentive to detail
• Care about both visual quality and performance
• Enjoy turning briefs, insights, and hypotheses into strong visual executions
• Feel comfortable working with both strict brand guidelines and fast-paced performance creatives
• Are curious about new tools, formats, and production approaches
• Actively experiment with AI in your creative workflow
• Enjoy finding smarter and faster ways to produce great work
