Principal DevOps Engineer (Product Support & Customer Operations)

Your Career

As a Principal DevOps Engineer within our On-Prem Platform team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, operability, and customer success of our on-premise platform powering Cortex products — Cortex XSOAR, Cortex XDR, Cortex XSIAM, and Cortex Cloud.

This role is centered around supporting production deployments, resolving complex customer issues, leading troubleshooting efforts, and driving operational excellence across customer environments.

You will work directly with enterprise customers, customer engineering teams, product teams, and platform engineering to ensure successful deployment and operation of large-scale Kubernetes-based environments.

This position requires a strong hands-on engineering mindset combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions and customer calls under pressure.

You will own critical incidents end-to-end, identify systemic improvements, and continuously enhance platform stability, automation, and operational efficiency.

Your Impact

As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will:

Product Operations & Customer Support

• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex customer production issues.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of platform incidents across customer environments.
• Participate in customer-facing technical calls, war rooms, root cause analysis sessions, and operational reviews.
• Support enterprise deployments and guide customers through installation, upgrades, scaling, and recovery scenarios.

Platform Reliability & Automation

• Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Improve platform operability through automation and self-healing mechanisms.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build operational tooling to reduce manual effort and improve observability.
• Define monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning strategies.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

• Design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes deployment architectures.
• Develop automation frameworks and operational services using Go or Python.
• Implement and maintain configuration management and provisioning workflows using Ansible.
• Improve logging, monitoring, and observability across distributed environments.
• Support storage, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Production Operations roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Linux administration and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Deep operational experience with Kubernetes architecture, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with Ansible for automation and infrastructure management.
• Strong programming and automation skills in Go or Python.
• Proven experience supporting customer-facing production environments and handling critical incidents.

What is the Role About

As HR Lead, you will own the end-to-end people agenda of the company — with a primary mandate to build nomo's hiring engine and employer brand across all our geographies.

Your core mission is to ensure that nomo attracts, hires, and retains top talent at the pace and quality required by our growth plan, while building the operational HR foundation (policies, processes, systems, culture) that a scaling international broker needs.

What You Will Do:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (primary focus)

• Own and deliver the end-to-end hiring plan across all functions and geographies, including senior and executive roles
• Build, lead, and develop the in-house recruitment team (recruiters, sourcers, coordinators) as headcount grows
• Design and continuously optimize the full recruitment funnel — from sourcing and screening to offer and onboarding handover
• Own recruitment KPIs: time-to-hire, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, source-of-hire mix, quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire, pipeline conversion
• Manage agency, RPO, and freelance recruiter partnerships where in-house capacity requires augmentation

Recruitment Marketing & Employer Brand

• Define and execute nomo's employer value proposition (EVP) and employer brand strategy across priority talent markets
• Own the careers site, job board presence, LinkedIn Life page, Glassdoor profile, and social talent content strategy
• Design and run targeted recruitment marketing campaigns (paid, organic, referral, events) to build a warm candidate pipeline
• Partner with Marketing to ensure visual and narrative consistency between the consumer brand and employer brand
• Build and maintain a talent CRM / pipeline for passive candidates and future-critical roles

HR Business Partnering & People Operations

• Partner with the CEO, COO, and functional leaders as the trusted people advisor on organizational design, team health, and leadership effectiveness
• Own the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, offboarding
• Design, implement, and continuously evolve HR policies, employee handbook, and internal processes fit for an international distributed organization
• Manage HR operations across jurisdictions in coordination with local providers (EOR/PEO, legal, payroll partners)
• Own HR systems (ATS, HRIS, performance tools) — currently PeopleForce — including configuration, data integrity, and reporting

Culture, L&D, and Internal Communications

• Shape and protect nomo's culture as the company scales — rituals, values, feedback mechanisms, all-hands cadence
• Build a pragmatic learning & development approach: onboarding enablement, leadership development, role-specific training
• Drive internal communications in partnership with the leadership team to keep the organization aligned during fast growth
   

Compensation, Performance & Retention (long-term)

• Operate and evolve the compensation framework: bands, leveling, benchmarking, bonus and equity schemes (where applicable)
• Run the performance management cycle (goal-setting, reviews, calibration, development plans)
• Monitor and act on retention, engagement, and attrition metrics; design interventions where needed 

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in senior HR roles with a strong recruitment focus, ideally in CFD/Forex/fintech/iGaming/crypto/high-velocity B2C
• Proven track record in recruitment leadership — personally built hiring engines and led recruitment teams through periods of rapid scale
• Hands-on experience in recruitment marketing and employer branding: EVP development, careers site, content, campaigns, LinkedIn and Glassdoor management
• Broad generalist strength across HR disciplines — business partnering, people operations, compensation, performance, L&D, culture

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support the evolution of the client’s cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, monitoring, deployment practices, and platform operations.

This role is especially suitable for an engineer with strong Azure experience, solid production mindset, and hands-on knowledge of infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, GitHub-based delivery workflows, and modern observability tooling.

You will work closely with engineering, platform, security, and operations teams to maintain and improve a complex ecommerce technology environment, contribute to ongoing migrations, and help ensure reliability, scalability, security, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes for a large-scale digital commerce platform.
• Contribute to migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub-based workflows.
• Support migration activities from GitLab to GitHub where required.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and deployment workflows.
• Work with Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Web Apps, Azure Front Door, Azure Key Vault, Azure Managed Identities, and Azure SQL.
• Support Kubernetes-based workloads using Helm, YAML manifests, and related deployment tooling.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Bicep.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and scripting best practices.
• Support monitoring and observability initiatives, including migration from Azure-native monitoring to Datadog.
• Work with CDN and edge-related services such as Akamai or similar platforms.
• Support integrations with event-streaming and messaging platforms such as Confluent / Kafka.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams on code quality and security tooling such as SonarCloud.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application runtime issues.
• Participate in technical discussions, incident analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of GitHub Actions or GitHub-based engineering workflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps; migration experience from Azure DevOps to GitHub would be a strong advantage.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform.
• Experience with Bicep or ARM-based Azure infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and Bash.
