Our client operates a market data distribution business that aggregates FX rates from a wide range of sources - reserve banks, vendor feeds, web scraping, and crypto - and redistributes reliable hourly FX snapshots to clients running ERP and finance systems. Their customer base spans North America and Europe and includes Big Four auditing firms. The platform is mature and highly stable, with no production incidents over the past 12 months.

You will join a small, focused team responsible for maintaining and evolving a stable, business-critical FX data platform built on ~15 microservices. The work splits roughly into managing volatile upstream data sources (100+ feeds with unstable APIs), delivering product enhancements, and engineering excellence tasks such as infrastructure and database upgrades. This is a long-term engagement where reliability, ownership, and deep familiarity with the system matter more than raw feature velocity.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong, hands-on Scala expertise
• Solid experience with microservices architectures in production
• Proficiency with GCP and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Python (Django) and Golang
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and managing unreliable/volatile data sources
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL / Cloud SQL), including migrations and upgrades
• Experience with third-party integrations such as Salesforce, Braintree, or Zuora is a plus
• B2+ English level (written and verbal) for direct client collaboration
• Ability to independently own and operate a stable production system with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

About the Company:

We are currently expanding our product team and looking for a Senior CRM / Retention Manager who will be responsible for player retention strategies, CRM communication development, and LTV growth.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:

•  Developing and implementing player retention strategies for Tier-1 markets;
• Analyzing user behavior and key metrics: LTV, ARPPU, DAU, churn rate, session depth, cohort analysis;
• Building the player Customer Journey across all lifecycle stages: onboarding → first deposit → active play → VIP → reactivation;
• Creating automated multi-channel communications: email, push, SMS, in-app;
• Developing and optimizing trigger-based CRM scenarios (welcome, post-deposit, retention, winback);
• Setting up personalized bonus mechanics based on player segment, VIP level, and gaming behavior;
• Running A/B/n testing of CRM communications and bonus offers;
• Analyzing CRM campaign performance, forecasting ROI, and tracking CPL, RPR, and Retention Rate;
• Managing banners and their display logic within the product;
• Developing and updating email, push notification, and banner templates;
• Monitoring deliverability, database quality, and domain reputation;

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor) and an understanding of how they work underneath: model APIs, tool calling, agent loops, context management.
• Understanding of LLM API and tool-use patterns: function calling, tool orchestration, and the ability to integrate AI models programmatically, not just through existing UIs.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs between off-the-shelf agentic tools and custom API-based implementations.
• Genuine enthusiasm for and an informed opinion on where agentic tooling is heading.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals; comfortable owning significant pieces end-to-end across frontend and backend.
• Solid experience in any primary backend language (Java, Python, etc.) combined with React or any other modern frontend framework.
• Proactive, self-driven mindset, able to work independently without detailed instructions.
• Strong communication skills in English (C1).
• Comfortable working in greenfield environments with evolving requirements.

Strong Plus:

• Familiarity with AWS AI services; AWS AI Practitioner certification (AIF-C01) is a notable bonus.
