    We are looking for a Middle Business Central Developer with solid understanding of ERP business processes, hands-on experience in the cloud version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, strong AI development skills in an international environment. The ideal candidate can design and deliver scalable extensions, integrations, and optimizations while collaborating cross-functionally and maintaining high code quality standards on the Microsoft platform.
     

    Responsibilities:

    ‍

    • Development, support, and improvement of solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, considering business needs and user functional requirements.
    • Creation and maintenance of extensions using the AL language, including integrations with external systems and services.
    • Participation in designing the architecture of new modules and functionality, as well as optimization of existing processes in the BC system.
    • Configuration of business logic, data processing procedures, and process automation within the ERP system.
    • Testing, troubleshooting, and updating solutions according to changes in business requirements or regulatory environment.
    • Ensuring code quality according to internal standards, documenting changes and implemented solutions.
    • Providing technical support to key users, participating in resolving incidents and requests related to BC functionality.
    • Collaboration with analysts, system administrators, and other teams to integrate Business Central with Power BI, DMS, payroll solutions, etc.
    • Participation in implementation projects for new companies, adapting the system to local legislation, currencies, and reporting requirements.
    • Proposing improvements to technical solutions, optimizing system performance, and supporting ERP architecture scalability.

     

     

    ‍Job requirements:‍

     

    • 3+ years experience working with the cloud version of Business Central.
    • Knowledge of AL (Application Language) - the core programming language for Business Central development.
    • Understanding of the BC / NAV object model - including tables, pages, reports, events, and subscribers.
    • Experience in creating extensions - including work with Events & Subscribers.
    • Understanding of business processes (finance, sales, purchasing) - to implement ERP logic effectively.
    • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code + AL Extension - the main development environment.
    • Knowledge of SQL - for data navigation, table analysis, and testing.
    • Ukrainian (fluent) and English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

    Would be a plus:

    • Knowledge of API, OData, SOAP/REST - desirable for integrating ERP with other systems.
    • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, GIT - desirable for teamwork and version control.
    • Familiarity with testing, logging, and Unit Tests in BC - desirable if the company uses automated testing.
    • Understanding of data structures for integration with Power BI / DMS / Excel - desirable for cross-team collaboration.
    • Knowledge of older NAV versions or migration experience - an advantage if version upgrades are planned.
