As a Middle QA Engineer, you will take ownership of test activities, proactively improve testing approaches, and closely collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high product quality and reliability.

Required skills:

● 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications;
● Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC;

● Experience with SQL for data validation;
● Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman);
● Proven experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports);
● Experience in bug triage: reproducing, analyzing, prioritizing, and clearly documenting defects;
● Ability to independently plan and execute testing activities within a sprint;
● Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify root causes of issues;
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams;
● Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken).

Would be a plus:
● Knowledge of test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, etc.);
● Basic understanding of automation testing processes or experience with tools like Cypress;
● Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

Responsibilities:

• Generate qualified B2B leads via Upwork and Fiverr as core acquisition channels;
• Optimize Upwork profiles, proposals, and Fiverr gigs for algorithmic visibility and conversion;
• Analyze and adapt to Upwork & Fiverr algorithm changes on an ongoing basis;
• Write high-converting English copy (profiles, proposals, gig descriptions);
• Build and test data-driven hypotheses on Fiverr and Upwork (A/B tests for profiles, bids/proposals, gig structure, keywords, pricing);
• Manage the lead acquisition funnel in cooperation with sales, where your part is to drive the first meaningful contact (replies, messages, or booked intro calls);

• Track and report performance metrics tied to business outcomes (e.g. SQLs generated, deals closed, revenue impact)

   

Target KPIs:

• Upwork: ~20% view rate, ~10% reply rate resulting in qualified leads and booked calls
• Fiverr (daily total): 10K impressions, 200-500 clicks, 1-5 messages

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of Upwork and Fiverr algorithms and ranking logic;
• Proven, verifiable cases of profile/gig optimization with measurable lead results;
• Ability to connect platform metrics to lead outcomes (replies, qualified leads, booked calls);
• Strong written English (B2+), as copywriting is one of the core competencies;
• Strong performance mindset with focus on lead quality;
• Leadgen/SDR/sales experience within the software development industry and/or B2B services would be a plus.
