This isn’t a generic backend role. Here’s what a typical month might look like:

• Building automated measurement workflows—think aortic neck angulation, iliac tortuosity indices, or landing-zone diameter calculations that feed directly into surgical reports

• Developing new workspace modules: designing the data flow from raw DICOM volumes through preprocessing, AI inference, post-processing, and 3D scene generation

• Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, service communication, and scalable system design.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to write structured, readable, and maintainable code with attention to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience participating in code reviews and improving engineering quality.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Exposure to logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus).
