N-iX is looking for a Lead/Senior Kotlin Engineer to join our team.

Our customer is a fintech company that provides flexible buy-now-pay-later solutions, enabling consumers to split purchases into transparent, interest-free, or interest-based payments. The customer's Platform team is responsible for managing critical services that are essential to the success and sustainability of the organisation. In simple terms, the team handles transactional communication send-outs to customers via email, SMS, and push notifications. These services demand attention to detail, proactive maintenance, and swift response times to ensure seamless operations. The recent high-priority initiatives include re-architecture/platform modernisation, high availability, and internationalisation efforts; these are vital for our organisation's growth and competitiveness in the market. These initiatives require dedicated expertise and resources to execute efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a robust and extensible Kotlin framework and platform.
• Own and deliver quarterly goals by leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems while ensuring team support throughout delivery.
• Collaborate across the product development lifecycle with product management, design, and analytics to participate in ideation and articulate technical constraints.
• Drive decision-making and risk assessment by partnering on strategic technical choices that properly consider trade-offs and business impact.
• Proactively identify and resolve systemic issues across projects, processes, and technology, advocating for and leading the implementation of solutions.
• Ensure operational excellence and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, supporting "keep the lights on" efforts, and participating in an on-call rotation.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting high standards for code reviews and design, and advocating for best practices through technical writing and talks.
• Mentor engineering talent by providing actionable feedback, guidance, and leading by example to grow the team's capabilities.

Role Requirements:

• Experience in technical leadership in system design, with a proven ability to deliver significant features using elegant, simple, and extensible designs
• Strong infrastructure knowledge, including technologies such as AWS, MySQL/DynamoDB, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in large-scale codebase management, utilizing a suite of tools and practices that ensure safe and efficient technical changes
• Experience in operational monitoring, including the use of metrics and tracing to maintain system health
• Excellent collaboration skills for effective partnership with global, cross-functional engineering teams

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture across presales, assessments, discoveries, and strategic client engagements.
• Work directly with client stakeholders, including engineering leaders, CIOs and CTOs, to understand business goals and translate them into technology strategies.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient and cost-effective solutions on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with containers and Kubernetes such as EKS or AKS.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, resilience, observability and cost optimization.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Ability to move between high-level architecture and detailed technical discussions with engineering teams.
• Experience leading technical workshops, discoveries or architecture assessments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English.

We'd Especially Value:

• Experience across both AWS and Azure.
• Experience leading complex cloud modernization programs.
• Strong software engineering background.
• Experience with platform engineering and developer platforms.
• Experience designing AI/GenAI-enabled solutions using services such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with FinOps, cloud governance and enterprise landing zones.
• Experience mentoring engineers or architects.

Certifications:

Relevant professional-level cloud certifications are an advantage, including:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• AWS/Azure DevOps, Security or related certifications
• Terraform, Kubernetes or architecture certifications
• Anthropic Claude Architect or other AI-enabling certifications

Certifications are valued, but demonstrated architecture and engineering experience matters more.

Why Join:

You'll work on complex cloud transformation challenges rather than being tied to a single product or project.

• Shape solutions from the first client conversation through delivery.
• Work across industries, architectures and technology stacks.
• Influence technical decisions on strategic enterprise engagements.
• Work with experienced architects and engineers across the N-iX technology organization.

• Grow beyond a single cloud platform as the market evolves.

We're Hiring: Web Scraping Support Engineer (Remote)

Hello everyone! Massive is looking for a Web Scraping Support Engineer to join our fully remote team. If you dream in selectors, wake up parsing HTML, and genuinely enjoy helping people solve gnarly data extraction problems — this one's for you.

 What is Massive?
Massive is an infrastructure company powering data-driven innovation at scale. We operate a global proxy network, build managed APIs for search engines (SERP), and Web Unblocking API to bypass anti-bot measures for large-scale data collection and processing.

 Why This Role Is Different
Most support roles are reactive. This one isn't. You're the person customers trust when their scraping pipeline breaks at 2 AM, when a target site changes its structure overnight, when nothing works and nobody knows why. You don't just answer tickets — you solve problems that other engineers can't.

 Who We're Looking For

• Troubleshoots in Their Sleep: Broken selectors, anti-bot walls, rotating proxies, CAPTCHAs, headless browser quirks — you've seen it all and you fix it before your coffee gets cold
• AI is your best friend - you know how to leverage AI to be 10X faster and more productive
• Customer-Obsessed & Likable: You're the person customers ask for by name. You explain complex concepts in plain language and people genuinely enjoy working with you
• Can Scrape Anything, Anywhere: SPAs, paginated APIs, rate-limited endpoints, geo-restricted content — if it's on the web, you know how to extract it
• Consumes Data for Breakfast: You think in JSON, dream in XPath, and get excited about a well-structured dataset
• Relentlessly Organized: Your support board is pristine. Every ticket triaged, every follow-up tracked, every edge case documented. Nothing slips through — ever
• Curious Builder: When you notice the same issue three times, you don't just fix it — you automate the solution so it never comes back

 What You'll Be Doing

• Own the support board end-to-end with the support team — triage, prioritize, resolve, and follow up on every ticket
• Debug complex web scraping issues across proxy configurations, browser automation, and API integrations
• Help customers build, optimize, and fix their scraping pipelines
• Reproduce issues, identify root causes, and escalate bugs with full context to engineering
• Write documentation and guides that reduce repeat tickets

 Bonus Points

• Experience with Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium or similar browser automation
• Hands-on with proxy networks and IP rotation strategies
• Familiarity with anti-bot systems (Cloudflare, Akamai, PerimeterX, DataDome)
• Working knowledge of Python, Node.js, or scripting languages for data extraction
• no satisfaction until all the work is done and then some

Ready to Scrape the Future With Us?
Skip the generic resume. Show us something real — a scraper you built, a gnarly problem you debugged, a support process you transformed. We care about what you can do, not where you went to school.
If you read this and thought "finally, someone gets it" — trust that feeling. Apply now.

About the Role (Node.js)

We're looking for a curious and motivated Junior Backend Engineer to join our team. You'll be building backend services and REST APIs and working with AWS or Azure infrastructure.

Our projects use Python or C#, but since all of our code is written with AI, we are considering candidates with any OOP language, including JavaScript and Java. What matters is how you think about software: object-oriented design, APIs, and data.

We work in pairs — juniors are always paired with another junior or someone at a similar level, not just for code reviews, but for day-to-day coding, architecture decisions, and problem solving, with seniors close by whenever you need help. This is production work: you'll ship services that customers rely on, with the safety net of another teammate beside you.

The client is US-based, so the team works US business hours; for engineers in Ukraine, this means your working day ends around midnight Kyiv time. This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability.

What You'll Work On

• Backend Services & APIs — build and maintain REST APIs and backend services for client platforms, with clear contracts and automated tests.
• AWS or Azure Infrastructure — work with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, depending on the project.
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines.

Tech Stack

• Backend — Our projects use Python or C#, depending on the engagement. You do not need to know either one — all code is written with AI, and you'll learn the project's framework on the job.
• Cloud — AWS or Azure, depending on the engagement. Nice-to-have, not required.

Working Hours & Format

This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. It's fully remote. Our client operates on US business hours, so the schedule needs to align with US time zones — for engineers based in Ukraine, your working day will end around midnight Kyiv time.

Requirements

Solid fundamentals in OOP and comfort with at least one OOP language — it does not matter which.

Exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus, but not required — you'll pick up what you need on the job. We care more about your curiosity and attitude than your CV.
