We run an internal data platform behind a talent representation intelligence product that maps out the entertianment industry.
 

We are rebuilding the platform (legacy Symfony/Angular → Django + React) because the current system stores its most valuable data as unstructured text and can't support where the product is going. . This is not a greenfield toy and not a rescue job — it's a planned rebuild with an unusual amount of groundwork already done:

• A product & architecture document with the domain model decided: what each module means, what dies, what changes, and the conventions (append-only history, structured-at-entry, derived-values-never-facts, and more)
• An epic breakdown with dependency order and explicit definitions of done
• A decisions register — every product ruling logged, searchable, current
• Approved feature specs for the major new modules (representation history, deals/endorsements restructure, awards, drafts)
• A migration standard: raw-row archives, legacy-ID mapping, conflict review queues, rehearsed cutover — nothing silently dropped, nothing silently merged
   

Your job is to design and build within that system: propose schemas and migration plans per module (we call these build contracts — you propose, product approves, then you build), stand up the foundation (auth, field-level permissions, API-first architecture), build the cross-cutting primitives (audit log, unified sources, soft delete, lookups), and run a phased legacy migration where reconciliation counts get reviewed, not just produced.
 

How we work — read this part twice:

• The documents are the spec; the legacy code is not. Many current features are unused and several database tables are mislabeled (we've mapped this). When you hit a question about what something should do, you ask — you don't resolve it from old code. We answer questions daily, in writing, fast.
• Gates are real. Every epic starts with your proposed schema + migration plan; implementation starts after approval. Epics close when their definition-of-done closes — including a researcher completing the workflow without your help — not when the tasks are checked off.
• AI tooling is welcome and expected. We assume you'll use agents/copilots — we do. What we hire for is what the tools can't do: judgment. You verify what your tools produce against the real schema and the real data before it reaches us. "The agent said so" is not a source. (Our favorite recent bug: a generated diagram claiming a name column was an integer. The person who catches that is who we're hiring.)
• Evidence over memory. Unknowns get investigated — code usage, row counts, what breaks — and then ruled on. We don't guess.
  
  You're a fit if:
• Senior Django + React, with real ownership of at least one system end-to-end (schema through UI through deployment)
• You've done at least one legacy migration or system replacement and can talk concretely about what went wrong and what you'd do differently
• You read before you build — genuinely. Our last mismatch was a capable developer who never opened the app or the documents; the interview is designed to detect this, so if it's not you, save us both the call
• You're comfortable proposing designs to a non-engineer product owner who is deeply involved, defending them in writing, and being overruled on product grounds without sulking
• Strong written English; async-first habits; you leave a paper trail by default
• Bonus, not required: search infrastructure (Typesense/similar), data-pipeline/ETL work, having worked alongside scraper/ingestion systems, PostgreSQL depth

Our team builds with AI assistance and moves fast. Someone has to be the person who checks the work before it reaches the people who depend on us. That is the heart of this role. If your instinct when handed a large branch that passes its tests is "looks good, merge it," this is not your job.
 

Who we are

Psychable is a US company. We run a directory, marketplace, and education hub in the health and wellness space, connecting individuals with vetted practitioners.
 

We recently rebuilt our platform from WordPress into a modern Next.js and MongoDB application. The codebase is in genuinely good shape: a layered architecture with dependency rules enforced automatically by tooling, roughly 7,500 tests, and a written decision record behind every significant choice. We are proud of it and we intend to keep it that way.
 

The shape of the work

This is a part-time, ongoing contract. 10 to 20 hours per week to start, with room to grow. You need a few hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time.  
 

What you will own

The review gate. Review work before it ships. Catch what tests do not: missing indexes, race conditions, authorization gaps, dead code, events that silently record nothing. Say no when the answer is no, and explain why in a way a non-technical teammate can act on.
 

The live platform. Keep it running, fast, and secure. Own the deploys and the release process.

The architecture. Strict layering, enforced by tooling, currently at zero violations. Your job is to keep that number where it is.

Security. Authentication, sessions, access control, secrets, and dependencies. We treat this as non-negotiable and so should you.

Performance. Measured, not guessed. We want someone who reads a query plan before changing a query.

Our booking marketplace. The biggest project ahead: an individual books and pays for a consult with a practitioner, and the practitioner gets paid. Onboarding, availability, scheduling, payments, payouts, and disputes. Money movement, built carefully and tested to a higher standard than anything else we do.
 

A payment provider migration. Our subscription processor is changing. The code already isolates the provider behind an adapter, so this is scoped work, not an open-ended rewrite.
 

Our stack

Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, MongoDB Atlas, Render, Cloudflare R2, Brevo, Google OAuth and Maps, Vitest.
 

You must have

Production Next.js, React, and TypeScript. Real applications, not tutorials.
 

Real MongoDB depth. You can read an execution plan. You know why a case-insensitive regex cannot use an index, and what a partial index will and will not match.
 

Code review experience. You have reviewed other people's work and caught real problems. You can tell us about a time you blocked something from shipping and why you were right.

Security fundamentals you actually apply: password hashing, session management and revocation, authorization enforced at every layer rather than just in the UI, protecting against account enumeration, and keeping secrets out of the codebase.

Fluency with AI-assisted development, and healthy skepticism of it. We use these tools daily. You should be faster with them and suspicious of their output. Both halves matter.
 

Respect for an architecture you did not design. You work within the pattern that exists and improve it deliberately, rather than rewriting it to your preference.
 

Testing discipline. You write tests that would actually fail if the code broke.
 

Clear, proactive written communication. You report progress and flag problems early without being chased. Most of our team is not technical, so you can explain a risk in plain language.

We're a small branding and packaging studio. We work mostly with founder-led CPG brands — coffee, specialty food and beverage, cannabis — and we're hiring a marketing designer to own everything that happens after the packaging is done.

That means social,paid ads, email, sell sheets, decks, trade show assets, and our own site. Some of it is brand building. Alot of it is performance, you need to be comfortable with both.

• 3+ years in marketing design, ideally in-house at a CPG brand or at studio that services them
• Strong layout and type. We care more about your typography then your illustration
• Figma fluency, full Adobe CC. After Effects is a big plus, basic 3D is a bigger one
• You can take a brand system someone else built and extend it without breaking it

About the role

We’re looking for a Lead Billing Data Analyst (Billing, Payments & Subscription Analytics) to own the data strategy behind our subscription billing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll build analyses and pipelines that improve billing performance, while also managing and mentoring a team of analysts.

Fabula is a fast-growing D2C coffee brand in the United States. TikTok is our next major growth channel, and we're looking for someone to build and own it.

This role is responsible for our entire TikTok Shop growth engine - from affiliate recruitment and creator partnerships to content sourcing, campaign execution, and performance optimization.

You'll work directly with the founders to build a scalable creator ecosystem that drives measurable revenue, not just engagement.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing or social media management role. We're looking for someone who understands TikTok Shop as a performance channel and knows how to scale affiliate and creator programs that generate GMV.

What you'll own

• Build, manage, and scale our TikTok Shop Affiliate Program, including creator sourcing, vetting, onboarding, briefing, commission structures (Open Collaboration, Targeted, VIP), and ongoing relationship management
• High-volume creator and influencer outreach, gifting campaigns, negotiations, and partnership management
• Build and maintain a high-quality UGC pipeline, ensuring creators consistently produce content that can be repurposed for paid advertising (including Spark Ads and whitelisted content)
• Develop and execute our organic TikTok content strategy, including trends, posting cadence, creator collaborations, and community engagement

You are

• 3–5+ years of experience managing TikTok creators, affiliates, or influencer programs for D2C/eCommerce brands or agencies
• You've personally built or managed a TikTok Shop affiliate program with measurable business results

We're looking for someone to own our entire performance creative system - from research and messaging to creative production, testing, and scaling winners across Meta, Google, TikTok, and advertorial funnels.

You'll have significant ownership over our creative strategy and will work directly with the founders to shape the direction of our customer acquisition efforts.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Media Buyer to join our performance marketing team and scale subscription-based products across Tier-1 markets.

This is not a campaign management role—we're looking for someone who thinks like a growth marketer, owns performance, continuously experiments, and knows how to scale profitable acquisition through Facebook and other paid channels.
