We’re a young startup, Lovat Compliance — a global tax & compliance technology provider specialising in EPR, VAT, sales tax and cross‑border compliance for e‑commerce businesses. We’re not yet a giant corporation, and much of what we will build is still ahead of us. What You’ll Do

• Establish and maintain our data‑security and information‑security programme from scratch: policies, standards, procedures tailored to our platform and services.
• Perform regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans and data‑protection audits; identify gaps and lead remediation.
• Be the owner of incident response: detection, containment, investigation and reporting of security events.
• Collaborate closely with IT development and compliance teams so that data‑protection is embedded into product development and operations.
• Manage data‑handling and access controls across the organisation — ensuring our client and platform data are processed securely.
• Run training and awareness programmes for staff on data‑security, privacy regulation (e.g., GDPR) and secure behaviours.

• Keep an eye on emerging threats, security trends and regulatory developments relevant to e‑commerce, EPR/VAT/sales‑tax platforms, and advise on what changes we need to make.

   

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a role related to data security, information security or risk management — ideally within SaaS, e‑commerce or cloud‑based platforms.
• Good knowledge of data‑protection laws (e.g., UK/EU GDPR), information‑security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and data‑security best practices.
• Proven experience with risk assessments, incident response and security audits.
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain security concepts to both technical and non‑technical people.

The Demand Planner executes the end-to-end demand forecasting process within a Managed Forecast & Demand Planning operating model. You Will

• Create visually engaging content that amplifies brand and creator identity.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) — from raw footage to final delivery.
• Assemble and enhance footage: cutting, pacing, syncing with sound, applying transitions, color correction, and light sound design.
• Add motion graphics, captions, text animations, and effects to strengthen storytelling and retention.
• Ensure platform-specific optimization — correct aspect ratios, subtitles, hooks, and pacing for each platform.
• Maintain consistent brand identity across all videos — color grading, typography, tone, and editing rhythm.
• Collaborate with the creative team (producer, director, marketing, and client managers) to deliver edits that match the creative vision.
• Work with music and sound — select and sync soundtracks, balance levels, and enhance emotional tone.
• Implement feedback quickly and effectively, maintaining version control and project organization.
• Stay updated on editing trends and bring fresh creative ideas and styles.
• Deliver multiple edits under tight deadlines while maintaining top-quality standards.

Requirements

• Awareness of social-media trends and platform nuances (hooks, retention, subtitles, pacing).
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro — confident editing of short-form vertical content.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion design and text animation.
• Strong sense of rhythm and storytelling through editing.
• Understanding of color correction, sound mixing, and composition.
• Adaptability to different styles — from cinematic to meme-style editing.
• Attention to detail and reliability under deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI tools for editing (auto-captioning, sound cleanup, or visual enhancement).

Responsibilities:  

• Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts.  
• Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it.  
• Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.  
• Create or assist in creating own test plan.  
• Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.  
• Procure or create test data required for testing.  
• Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).  
• Deliver releases to production using CI/CD tools  
• Report test results.  
• Update test cases based on the discovered defects.  
• Support the team with testing tasks as required.  

• Keep himself / herself up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain. 

   

Skills Required:  

• Working as Quality Assurance Engineer for 5+ years.  
• Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications with the main focus on backend part of the software.  
• Hands on experience of API testing using Postman or other similar tools.  
• Good knowledge and practical experience with Git. Experience with Gitflow usage will be a plus.  
• Practical experience with microservices  
• Good knowledge of the client-server architecture and communication. 
• Advanced skills in requirements analysis.  
• Good knowledge and practical experience working with SQL.  
• Deep understanding and experience in software development life cycle.  
• Excellent skills of reading and analysing logs to identify root cause of a defect.   
• Ability to prioritise test cases based on risk analysis.  
• Intermediate English level.  

• Strong proactiveness and communication skills.

• Knowledge and experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
