About the position

You own the architecture, the technical direction and the delivery accountability for a domain where a single mishandled transaction is a real problem for a real client.

This is a hands-on, coding team lead role. You will spend meaningful time in a Java and Spring Boot microservices codebase, with enough React and TypeScript to lead a fullstack team across the payment journeys clients and operations staff actually use. You will lead the engineering team that builds and runs our introducing-broker and partner platform: the systems that onboard partners, calculate multi-level partner commissions and rebates from referred trading activity, and give partners clear reporting on their performance. This platform sits at the commercial heart of the brokerage, integrating directly with the MetaTrader 5 trading platform and our core client systems, so correctness, traceability and reliability of every payout calculation matter as much as the features themselves.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will still write and review Java every week while owning the team's architecture, technical direction and end-to-end delivery. Day to day you balance coding and design with planning, mentoring and unblocking the team, working closely with product and with neighbouring engineering teams such as payments and the trading-platform integration layer. You will partner with product owners to shape the roadmap and turn it into well-sequenced, shippable work. The team works fully remotely, and this role reports to the CTO.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Engineering

• Design, write and review production Java daily, setting the standard for the codebase through your own contributions

Role Purpose

As a 2nd-Line Support Engineer, you own the technical investigation and resolution of production issues on a live online trading platform. Sitting between 1st-line support and engineering, you take escalations across the trading, payments, and introducing-broker (IB) / partner systems, reproduce and triage problems, perform root-cause analysis, and drive each issue to a resolution or a clean, well-documented hand-off. In a brokerage where clients trade CFDs/FX in real time and money moves through deposits and withdrawals, fast and accurate diagnosis directly protects client trust and revenue.

Day to day you work hands-on: reading application logs, querying relational databases with SQL to verify what actually happened to an order, payment, or partner record, writing light scripts to gather evidence, and watching monitoring dashboards and alerts to catch issues before clients do. You run incidents calmly, keep stakeholders informed in clear non-technical language, and escalate to engineering only when needed, with findings documented well enough that an engineer can pick up where you left off. You collaborate closely with 1st-line support, product teams, and backend engineers, and you work remotely as part of a distributed support function reporting into engineering/support leadership.

Working Hours & Coverage

This is a shift-based role. We run a three-engineer rota that keeps our support desk covered across extended hours, Monday to Friday, for a live trading platform. We are now hiring for the two shifts:
 

- Evening shift: 17:00–02:00 CET

- Night shift: 01:00–10:00 CET
 

You will be assigned to one of these shifts, and we ask that you state which one you can commit to when you apply. The shifts are designed to overlap by about an hour at each handover, so issues are passed over live between engineers rather than only through written notes. The role is fully remote, but your working hours must reliably and consistently overlap your assigned shift in CET/EET, so we are looking for candidates in compatible timezones. Reasonable rotation between the evening and night shifts, and occasional weekend cover, may apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Escalation Handling & Investigation

• Практичний досвід впровадження / адміністрування Odoo або інших ERP-систем.
• Глибоке розуміння фінансових процесів: бухгалтерія, AP/AR, payroll, treasury, бюджетування та управлінська звітність.
• Досвід збору вимог та написання business requirements documents / functional requirements documents / user stories / technical specifications.
• Вміння мапити та оптимізовувати бізнес-процеси за допомогою BPMN, flowcharts, Miro, Visio або подібних інструментів.
• Досвід налаштування ERP-систем без програмування (ролі, workflows, approvals, звітність, дашборди).
• Розуміння інтеграцій між ERP та зовнішніми системами через API, banking tools, payroll, CRM або BI-системи.
• Сильні навички роботи з Excel / Google Sheets для аналітики, reconciliations та міграції даних.

• Практичний досвід використання AI-інструментів для бізнес-аналізу, оптимізації процесів, автоматизації workflow, документації та підвищення продуктивності.
