Your expertise:

• Experience with financial KPIs, including profit and loss (P&L) statements

We’re looking for a motivated BC QA engineer to join our team, support users, and grow their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
 

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of testing for functional changes, integrations, and extensions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Development, maintenance, and execution of test cases, checklists, and test plans for manual testing and, if needed, test automation.
• Verification of integrations between Business Central and other systems (Payroll, DMS, Power BI, MSW, REST API, OData) to ensure correct data exchange and compliance with technical requirements.
• Analysis of specifications and technical tasks, participation in defining requirements from the testing perspective.
• Identification, logging, and classification of bugs, creating bug reports in the task management system (Jira).
• Participation in regression testing and release cycle support: preparing test data, monitoring test execution, and supporting post-update checks.
• Collaboration with developers, analysts, and administrators to clarify expected logic, reproduce bugs, and verify fixes.
• Use of test environments (sandbox, test), checking the impact of changes on the production environment and integrations.
• Documentation of identified issues, updating test documentation, and participation in knowledge sharing within the team.
• Providing suggestions for improving testing processes, optimizing integration testing approaches, and automation.
 

Job requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in software testing (ERP, financial, or integration systems preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV, including Finance, Sales, Purchase modules, and integrations.
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans).
• Writing clear bug reports and working with Jira.
• Manual and regression testing of Business Central functionality.
• Verification of integrations via OData, REST API, and file-based data exchange.
• Experience working with sandbox, test, and production environments; understanding of release cycles.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation (tables, views, simple queries).
• Nice to have: understanding of test automation (e.g., Test Codeunits in BC).
