About us:

At PlayMe Studio, we are developing MeChat: Love Secrets, a Tinder among interactive dating simulator games. MeChat offers hundreds of unique romance routes, and we keep creating more. We value immersive writing, consistent and engaging plot lines, and an exciting flow of relationship development that makes our players feel loved.

Our Narrative Design team today unites 13 specialists - that’s a 3x growth in the last 3 years. And we’re still expanding: we’re always open to people who are passionate about romance and visual novels, love writing, join game jams, and dream of starting their journey in narrative design.

About the role:

As a Narrative Designer, you will be responsible for a full cycle of designing the interactive romance routes. This position requires an ability to work with routine tasks and creativity in developing diverse romantic interactions. You will be assigned a mentor for smooth integration into the team and adaptation to all in-team processes.

As a Narrative designer, you will:

• Assemble story scripts based on the required formatting in Google Spreadsheets.
• Prepare visual references for story scripts.
• Design the interactive romance routes (sequels and new stories).
• Develop detailed romance plots and write story synopses for writers.
• Work closely with romance writers to ensure narrative and structure consistency.
• Revise and edit the narrative to ensure exciting players’ emotional journey.
• Q&A developed stories (review builds and provide feedback).
• Create new characters based on the audience's preferences.

• Maintain game documentation based on given standards.

   

Knowledge and skills we are looking for:

• At least 6 months of experience in creative writing, scriptwriting, interactive storytelling, or related fields (commercial experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of story structure, character arcs, pacing, emotional beats, and relationship development in interactive narratives.
• Deep understanding of current romance trends in media and pop culture.
• Deep understanding of what makes a great interactive story (player’s emotional journey, player’s agency, immersive narrative, etc).
• Ability to create immersive interactive romance scenes and sequences.
• Ability to write, iterate, and revise work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in Google Suite, Slack, Trello, Miro, Jira.
• Passion for mobile games and audience.
• English level Upper-Intermediate or higher.

• Ukrainian language - at least a basic level of understanding is a must-have - the team speaks Ukrainian.

Зараз ми шукаємо Junior UI/UX Designer, який вміє розуміти продуктові задачі й перетворювати їх на логічні, сучасні та візуально сильні інтерфейси.

Що будеш робити:

• розробляти UI/UX дизайн продуктового сайту;
• проєктувати структуру сторінок і user flow;
• створювати фінальні макети у Figma;
• готувати адаптивні версії для desktop та mobile;
• працювати з дизайн-системою продукту та розвивати компонентний підхід;

• готувати дизайн до передачі розробникам.

   

Що ми очікуємо:

• досвід роботи UI/UX дизайнером від 6 місяців;
• впевнене володіння Figma;
• портфоліо з прикладами робіт;
• розуміння UX-принципів та адаптивного дизайну;
• базове розуміння дизайн-систем і компонентного підходу;
• структурне мислення та вміння пропонувати рішення;

• сильний візуальний смак.

   

Буде великим плюсом:

• досвід роботи з B2C-сайтами або веб-продуктами;
• участь у створенні UI-kit або дизайн-системи;
• досвід або інтерес до дизайну мобільних застосунків;

• вміння працювати з ШІ-інструментами в дизайні.
