Role Mission

The Head of VIP is responsible for leading the VIP department and developing strategies to increase engagement, loyalty, and revenue from high-value players.

This role focuses on building the VIP function from scratch - establishing team structure, developing processes and internal regulations, implementing VIP management frameworks, and creating a scalable system for high-value player engagement and premium player experience.

Key Responsibilities

-Launch and build the VIP department from scratch, including defining team structure and operational model.

-Hire, train, and manage a high-performing VIP team, including Team -Leads and VIP Managers.

-Develop and implement VIP processes, internal regulations, and service standards.

-Design VIP player segmentation models and engagement strategies.

-Create personalized VIP offers, loyalty mechanics, and promotional campaigns.

-Define and implement KPI frameworks for the VIP team and monitor performance.

-Analyze key player metrics including LTV, ARPU, deposit behavior, and engagement to drive growth.

-Make strategic decisions regarding VIP player cases and high-value accounts.

-Collaborate with CRM, Marketing, Product, and Payments teams to improve VIP player experience.

You are a strong backend engineer who has gone deep on AI and agentic systems: someone as comfortable designing a production service architecture as reasoning about LLM context windows, tool use, and agent failure modes. You will own the design, implementation, and ongoing reliability of Simulmedia’s agentic AI products, working across Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to bring these systems to life.

• Experience building agentic workflows, whether with frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AWS Bedrock or custom orchestration, and strong opinions about the tradeoffs

Backend Engineering

• Strong fundamentals: API design, service reliability, async patterns, observability, and writing code that other engineers can understand and extend

• Enough data engineering fluency to work confidently with pipelines, SQL, and a warehouse environment (we use Redshift and Databricks)

Communication

• Business-level written and spoken English is required. This role involves regular collaboration with Ukraine-based and US-based stakeholders across Product, Data Science, and Commercial teams.
• Clear and precise technical communication: you can explain what an agent is doing, why it failed, and what you’re doing about it to both engineers and non-engineers
