The Role

You'll be the engineer who owns the infrastructure platform end to end. Description

Our team is at the forefront of developing a security operations platform, specializing in security analytics and response playbooks. As a key part of the backend development organization, we manage and integrate with a multitude of client infrastructures through over 300 third-party integrations.

Requirements

We are seeking a Mid or Senior DevOps Engineer to supplement our security operations platform’s deployment, integration, and testing capabilities. This is a key role for improving our CI/CD workflows, ensuring the reliable management and deployment of our third-party integrations, and improving the stability and performance of our existing test pipelines.

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, and reliable delivery of the security platform and its integrations.
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of 300+ third-party service integrations, on diverse hosting requirements:
     – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
     – Microsoft Azure
     – Supporting on-premise deployments hosted within GCP or Azure environments
     – AWS
• Develop and automate data generation processes for validating and operating each third-party integration.
• Implement comprehensive automation for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and implement improvements to improve the stability, reliability, and performance of existing sanity test pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineering teams to streamline integration processes and ensure seamless service deployment.
• Advocate for and implement DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices, focusing on automation, observability, and system resilience.

We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform DevSecOps engineer. We need to protect hundreds of GKE cluster nodes with various security tools, automate their deployment, conduct compliance checks for the infrastructure, and perform log analysis.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Verification of published exploits and vulnerabilities in Google security bulletins
• Tuning open-source security tools for K8s/GKE.
• Analyzing security events and taking appropriate measures.
• Developing Terraform configurations and modules to manage GCP security components.
• Developing Helm charts.
• Reviewing user access requests.
• Maintaining network security rules.
• Maintaining integrations between GCP and other identity providers (Federated Identity).
• Developing shell scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Securing and managing our secondary Azure infrastructure environments.

What we expect from you:

Your future responsibilities:

• Integrate security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, etc)
• Implement security as a service in AWS and Kubernetes environments, enforce security policies across infrastructure and applications
• Implement integrations and perform DevOps tasks for authentication and authorization platforms, collaborate with Golang/Java developers
• Design, implement, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure devops infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure optimal performance, low latency, and high availability. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Automate security checks and compliance validation in deployment workflows
• Own and maintain critical infrastructure and DevOps services end-to-end
• Contribute to technical documentation, security guidelines, and knowledge sharing
• Leverage AI tools and automation to accelerate development, troubleshooting, and security operations

Your skills and experience:

• Proficiency in managing and orchestrating containerized applications with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, security)
• Hands-on experience with Git, AWS, k8s, Vault, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, PostgreSQL
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD, Flux, or similar
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation with integrated security scanning
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and shift-left security principles
• Experience with security scanning tools (Trivy, Snyk, SonarQube, Checkov, or similar)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Terragrunt)
• Understanding of container security best practices and image hardening
• Experience with secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or similar authentication protocols
• Background in high-availability and secure system design
