We’re looking for a skilled Visual Designer to create design work that’s meant to live in motion.

What you’ll do

• Set the visual direction for projects, guided by each client’s brand and goals
• Design frames that will be brought to life through animation, including UI-based layouts, typography-driven compositions, video backgrounds, and logo animation sequences (everything you see in your typical product motion videos, think Google’s Gemini, Wix, Grammarly, etc.)
• Design with motion in mind: how frames transition, how elements enter and move, and how everything stays clear and legible once animated.

What we’re looking for

Must-have

• Strong visual taste and attention to detail (you live on Pinterest and Are.na and save motion videos you love in playlists)
• Confident typography, layout, and graphic design skills (you can comfortably build a standalone design or build around existing assets, and make boring software look attractive), plus comfort working with UI components and a basic understanding of UI design and logic
• A collaborative mindset: able to brainstorm independently and with a team, and clearly communicate ideas to animators and fellow designers

• Onboard and mentor product designers on the correct usage of the design system, serving as the primary point of contact for system-related queries.
• Champion WCAG accessibility standards across all UI components, driving inclusivity and compliance.
• Work end-to-end with PMs and tech leads on specific product domains—monitoring, device management, dashboards, ensuring user-centered outcomes.
• Support the phased North Star vision by iterating on existing interfaces and preparing guidelines for future redesign phases.

Required Competence and Skills:

• 3+ years of product design experience (UI/UX), including at least 1 year building or managing a robust design system.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, with deep knowledge of Styles, Variables, Tokens, and Interactive Components.
• Strong systemic thinking and familiarity with Atomic Design, able to decompose complex interfaces into reusable elements.
• Hands-on experience with Storybook or equivalent component documentation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of HTML & CSS fundamentals (Box Model, Flexbox) and how designs translate to browser and mobile implementations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions.
• Background in frontend development or code-adjacent roles.
• Familiarity with Dark Mode implementation or multi-brand theming strategies.
