You should be comfortable understanding the entire chain from sensor input to guidance logic, flight controller, actuators, airframe behavior, and real-world flight performance.

This person will have significant technical ownership and can grow into the technical lead for Vernius’s Ukrainian engineering team.

About Vernius

Vernius Systems is a U.S. defense technology company developing compact radar systems for autonomous drone interception.

Our Ukrainian engineering team works directly with interceptor manufacturers to integrate Vernius radar technology into existing UAV platforms and test these systems in real flight conditions.

We are looking for a hands-on FPV engineer who is equally comfortable building drones, designing mechanical parts in CAD, rapidly prototyping them, and taking the resulting aircraft into the field.

What you’ll do

• Design radar mounts and other integration components for different interceptor airframes.
• Rapidly prototype designs using CAD and 3D printing.
• Install Vernius radar systems onto interceptor UAVs.
• Build, modify, repair, and prepare interceptor prototypes for testing.
• Integrate flight controllers, electronics, wiring, power systems, and communication hardware.
• Work through mechanical integration issues including packaging, weight, balance, and center of gravity.
• Iterate quickly: design → print → assemble → fly → diagnose → redesign.
• Prepare aircraft for flight tests.
• Support the GNC engineer during guidance and integration testing.
• Diagnose hardware and mechanical issues discovered during testing.
• Work directly with Ukrainian interceptor manufacturers and their engineering teams.

• Help establish a fast prototyping and testing capability in the Kyiv office.

What we’re looking for

• Extensive hands-on experience building and modifying FPV/UAV systems.
• Strong practical understanding of FPV hardware:
  • flight controllers
  • ESCs
  • motors
  • receivers
  • power systems
  • telemetry and communication equipment
• CAD experience and ability to design functional mechanical parts independently.
• Practical 3D-printing experience.
• Strong soldering, wiring, assembly, and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of UAV weight distribution, center of gravity, vibration, and mechanical constraints.
• Experience preparing and troubleshooting aircraft in real flight-test conditions.
• Ability to prototype quickly rather than optimize indefinitely on a computer.

English

• Sufficient to read technical documentation and communicate on basic technical topics.
• Conversational English (B1+) is a strong advantage but not a strict requirement.

Strong advantages

• Direct experience with interceptor drones.
• Ability to pilot interceptor or high-performance FPV aircraft.
• Experience conducting flight tests.
• Experience integrating payloads or sensors onto UAV platforms.
• Experience with ArduPilot, Betaflight, or PX4.
• Experience working with Ukrainian defense-tech companies or military units.
• Mechanical/aerospace engineering background.

Who this role is for

We value hands-on experience more than credentials.

Someone who has spent years building, modifying, flying, crashing, repairing, and improving real UAVs may be a stronger candidate than a traditional mechanical engineer with limited field experience.

We want someone who can receive a new interceptor airframe, understand it quickly, design an integration solution, manufacture the prototype, install it, and help get the aircraft into the air.

Swarmer develops software that makes drones autonomous and allows them to operate together, in large, coordinated teams — no pilots needed. Our technology has been battle-tested in Ukraine— the world’s most intense proving ground for drone warfare.

In March 2026, we became the first Ukrainian defense startup to go public on NASDAQ, following a $15M Series A — the largest investment in a Ukrainian defense tech company since the start of the war.

Working at Swarmer means operating at the intersection of engineering rigor and frontline reality. The problems and environments are complex, and the stakes are very real. We built this software to enable democratic nations to defend themselves.

If you are motivated by building resilient systems that matter and by seeing the direct impact of your work, you’ll find purpose here.

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for defending our endpoints, identities, SaaS stack, networks, and cloud environment against the people actively trying to breach them. Product security lives with a separate team, so your focus stays sharp: keep the corporate perimeter tight.

This is a builder's role, not a maintainer's. You'll stand up and run our detection stack (SIEM/SOAR, EDR), lock down and manage the device fleet (MDM, hardening), and design identity controls built on ZeroTrust principles (SSO, MFA, ZTNA).

You won't be handed a mature security program to babysit. You'll design it, implement it, and operate it, with recognized frameworks as your guardrails and real-world attack patterns as your test cases.

What you’ll do:

• Own and continuously improve our SIEM/SOAR capabilities, including log source onboarding, detection rules and correlation logic, alert tuning, dashboards, automated response workflows, and integration across the security stack
• Monitor and analyze security events and logs to catch anomalies and potential threats; investigate, contain, and remediate incidents, documenting timelines, root causes, and lessons learned
• Deploy and manage endpoint and server protection across the fleet (EDR/NGAV, MDM), including policy enforcement, compliance configuration, and hardening baselines (encryption, security policies, benchmarks)
• Implement and operate identity and Zero Trust access controls, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, ZTNA, device posture checks, RBAC, least privilege, privileged access management, and periodic access reviews
• Manage vulnerabilities across endpoints, servers, and cloud, with risk-based prioritization and remediation tracking
• Monitor cloud and SaaS security posture, remediate misconfigurations, and review third-party integrations and access scopes
• Review infrastructure projects and architecture from a security lens, ensuring secure-by-default configurations
• Document technical security controls (runbooks, hardening guides) and support internal and external audits

What we need:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure engineering, with a clear specialization in security
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, covering log source integration, detection engineering, alert investigation, and security automation
• Hands-on experience with EDR/NGAV platforms, covering endpoint policy management, detection, investigation, and response
• Experience hardening and managing endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux, including MDM platforms
• Experience with identity and Zero Trust access technologies, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, device posture, and ZTNA
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), with practical experience configuring firewalls and other network security controls
• Working knowledge of common attack techniques and how to detect and prevent them
• Practical familiarity with recognized security frameworks and standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK)
• Strong risk-assessment instincts, with the ability to prioritize pragmatically and explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues
• English proficiency, for documentation, vendors, and external partners

Would be an advantage:

• Scripting ability for automating security and infrastructure tasks (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or SOAR playbooks)
• Experience with vulnerability management platforms
• Working knowledge of cloud and SaaS security controls (e.g., CSPM/SSPM)
• Relevant security certifications
• Experience working in enterprise or critical-infrastructure environments

What you’ll get:

• Professional growth through working with cutting-edge defense technologies and exposure to international security best practices.
• Direct impact: your work protects systems that operate in real, high-stakes environments.
• A fast-paced environment with minimal bureaucracy and no “process for the sake of process”.
• Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package (insurance, paid sick leave, 20 paid days off per year).
• Benefits of the defense sector (e.g., reservation, etc.).
• Flexible remote work options where possible.

How’s the hiring process going:

✔️ Recruiter Screen → ✔️ Technical Interview → ✔️ Final Interview → ✔️ Security check → ✔️ Offer

About Farsight Vision

Farsight Vision develops AI-powered geospatial intelligence solutions for defence and security operations. The platform transforms raw aerial and sensor data into real-time 3D environments, actionable analytics, and AI-assisted operational scenarios, enabling enhanced situational awareness, mission planning, and faster decision-making for both human operators and autonomous systems. We operate at the intersection of geospatial data, computer vision, and defense operations – and if that interests you, read on.

We are looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to own our modules end-to-end: from tweaking the first prototype to a design that is ready for production. This is not a role for someone who waits for a fully specified drawing package. You will take a requirement, turn it into working hardware, break it in testing, and make it better.

Responsibilities

•       Build product prototypes, test them under real conditions, and iterate fast based on what the tests actually show, not what the model predicted

•       Design adapter plates, mounts and interfaces that integrate our hardware with partner and third-party products, making sure they fit, hold, and survive field use

•       Integrate robotics components (sensors, single-board computers, network equipment, batteries) into compact, reliable assemblies

•       Select power supplies and electrical components, design and assemble cable harnesses, solder and crimp connections, and test and troubleshoot electrical systems

•       Take designs from prototype to serial-production readiness: choose materials and manufacturing methods, simplify assembly, and remove what doesn't need to be there

•       Prepare and maintain design and technical documentation that a manufacturer can build from without calling you every day

•       Travel within Ukraine for testing, integration and work with manufacturers when the product needs you on site

Requirements

•       3+ years of experience in mechanical design of machine assemblies (from metal, plastic and rubber)  and integration of electrical systems

•       Deep understanding of strength of materials, joints, fasteners and connectors

•       Hands-on experience integrating robotics components: sensors, single-board computers, network hardware, batteries

•       Practical experience with 3D printing, casting, cutting and material processing

•       Proficiency in SolidWorks and Altium Designer (or equivalent tools)

•       Solid understanding of electrical schematics

•       Practical experience designing and testing electrical circuits, soldering, assembling cable harnesses, crimping and electrical troubleshooting

•       Experience working with design and technical documentation

•       Ability to work on site in our office/workshop in Lviv and travel across Ukraine; valid military registration documents that allow you to travel freely

•       Intermediate+ English

Nice to have

•       Experience designing hardware for defence, UAV, UGV or other unmanned systems

•       Experience preparing products for serial production with external manufacturers

•       Startup experience, where you were the person who made the prototype work, not the one who wrote the spec for it

Security Eligibility

Our platform is actively used by the Armed Forces in live operations. As an Estonian-Ukrainian defence technology company handling sensitive operational data, we have a responsibility – legal, ethical, and practical – to ensure the integrity of everyone on our team.

All candidates must be able to confirm the following:

•       Neither you nor your close relatives (parents, spouse, siblings, children) reside in Russia, Belarus, or temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

•       You have no regular personal, financial, business, or professional contact with individuals in those territories.

•       You consent to a deeper security verification if the process advances to later stages.

If any of the above criteria are not met, please do not proceed with your application.

Why Farsight Vision

We are a startup operating under real-world conditions – our product is in active deployment, and the pace reflects that. The hardware you design goes to the Defense Forces, so "good enough for now" and "good enough for the field" are different standards. We need someone who solves the problem in front of them with what is available, learns new tools and methods as the product demands, and cares more about the result than the process around it.

Flexible working hours. Paid vacation and sick leave. Direct access to founders and leadership.

Application Process

1. Apply with your CV and a brief cover letter explaining your interest and relevant experience.
2. Interview with the recruiter and technical team.

We operate at the intersection of geospatial data, computer vision, and defense operations — and if that interests you, read on.

We are looking for a Field QA Engineer to own the quality of the navigation software running on unmanned ground vehicles — validated against the real, physical unit in the field, not just in a simulator, and then to represent that quality live in front of customers and partners. This is not a desk-only QA role: roughly 70% of your time is hands-on testing (hardware, software, networking, and simulation), and the rest is running and supporting live demos — where you’ll set up the system, troubleshoot on the spot, and carry field feedback back to the engineering team. You will need to be comfortable working from a command-line/terminal interface (Linux shell, SSH, logs), just as comfortable with cables and connectors, and equally comfortable explaining what you’re doing to a non-technical audience abroad.

Responsibilities

• Test the robot as a full system — hardware, software, and the connection between them — not just the application layer
• Validate network and wireless connectivity between the robot and its control station, and diagnose connection issues (latency, packet loss, dropped links) when they occur
• Get physically hands-on with the unit: cabling, connectors, power, sensors — you are expected to understand the device, not just the screen showing its output
• Travel for field testing as needed
• Identify, reproduce, and clearly document bugs across hardware and software, and work directly with engineers to get them resolved fast
• Represent Farsight Vision at demos for international customers and partners — presenting the platform, fielding technical questions, and troubleshooting live
• Act as the link between engineering and the field/business context: collect feedback from demos and clients and translate it into clear, actionable input for the team
• When bandwidth allows, extend testing support to other Farsight Vision products (FSP platform, FSV app)

Requirements

• QA experience with hardware, embedded, or IoT-adjacent systems — not purely web/app QA
• Working understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP basics, wireless protocols, and how to diagnose connectivity problems
• Comfortable working hands-on with physical devices and basic diagnostic tools

Why Farsight Vision

We are a startup operating under real-world conditions — our product is in active deployment, and the pace reflects that. This role is hands-on and sometimes unglamorous work — cables, field conditions, things that break in ways a spec never predicted — and we need someone who treats that as an interesting problem, not an inconvenience to complain about.

Flexible working hours. Paid vacation and sick leave. Direct access to founders and leadership.

Application Process

1. Apply with your CV and a brief cover letter explaining your interest and relevant experience
2. Interview with the Recruiter, QA Lead and Lead Robotics Engineer
