    We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (Vue 3 / Nuxt 3) to lead a small team and personally craft key 2D/3D animations for ultra-light, fast, and visually striking landing pages.
    Your mission β€” create β€œwow effects” without compromising speed or maintainability.

     Key skills:

    • Expert in Vue 3 (Composition API) and Nuxt 3 (SSG/SSR, routing, runtime Nitro).
    • Strong expertise in GSAP/ScrollTrigger: timelines, scenes, pin/scrub, scroll synchronization, correct Vue lifecycle handling (onMounted/onUnmounted).
    • SVG/CSS animations: masks, filters; focus on transform/opacity; avoid layout recalculations.
    • Lottie/Rive: integration in Vue, asset weight control, programmatic playback management.
    • three.js (or TroisJS): materials, lighting, cameras; basic post-effects; mandatory resource management (dispose) and mobile fallbacks.
    • Performance engineering: performance budgets (JS/CSS/images), responsive images (AVIF/WebP, srcset/sizes), Critical CSS, preload/priority, code-splitting.
    • SEO & accessibility: SSG by default, i18n/hreflang, metadata/OG/JSON-LD (schema.org), basic WCAG 2.1 compliance.
    • Solid native JS (ES2023+) with minimal libraries; TypeScript optional.
    • Mentorship: pair programming, code reviews, creating learning guides for juniors.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Design and implement hero sections, scroll scenes, microanimations, and 3D sections (Vue/Nuxt + GSAP/SVG/Lottie + three.js/TroisJS).
    • Maintain performance budgets (JS ≀ ~150 KB gzip, CSS ≀ ~60 KB gzip, adjustable per project) and ensure green Core Web Vitals (LCP < 2.0 s, CLS < 0.1, INP < 200 ms).
    • Build an internal animation guideline: timings, easing curves, patterns (reveal, stagger), reusable Vue components/directives (v-animate-*).
    • Configure Nuxt SSG pipeline (incremental regeneration), i18n/hreflang, metadata, schema.org (JSON-LD), and CDN caching.
    • Implement simple lead forms (email/phone/country/currency): native + fetch, anti-spam (honeypot, min-time, rate-limit), backend/webhook integrations.
    • Conduct code reviews, plan sprints, create R&D prototypes of high-risk effects, and work closely with design and backend teams.
    • Include Lighthouse checks and basic E2E/visual regression tests in PRs; collect RUM Web Vitals in production.

    Nice to have

    • TroisJS (Vue layer over three.js), basic GLSL/shaders and post-processing (tone mapping, bloom) β€” where justified.
    • Experience with lightweight WordPress themes (custom templates/blocks, minimal plugins) using GSAP/SVG/three.js on the front end.

    Some engineers read about DeFi.

    Others build it.
    If you’ve ever wanted to step into DeFi and grow fast, this is your moment.

    About Us

    We are a next-generation trading and on-chain execution firm that develops and deploys high-frequency, arbitrage, and market-making strategies across CEXs and DEXs, working closely with token projects to ensure liquidity, fairness, and efficiency.

    We believe in learning by building, working in small elite teams, and giving talented people the space to grow beyond their current level.

    Our culture is builder-first: engineers here don’t just execute β€” they design systems, influence strategy, and see their work operate live in markets.

    About the Role

    You’ll join our core engineering team to design, build, and optimize smart contract systems and backend components for next-generation DeFi protocols.
    Depending on your level, you’ll:

    • Contribute to protocol architecture and product design;
    • Implement Solana-based (or similar) smart contracts and backend services in Rust;
    • Work closely with researchers, product designers, and founders;
    • Learn, experiment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible on-chain.

    This role can fit junior, mid, or senior engineers – because what matters most is talent, drive, and ability to learn.
    If you’re strong and fast-learning, we’ll help you become world-class.

    Responsibilities

    • Write clean, efficient, and secure Rust code for smart contracts and backend services;
    • Participate in architectural and code reviews;
    • Analyze and optimize on-chain performance;
    • Collaborate with product and design teams to ship new features;
    • Research new blockchain standards, tokenomics models, and emerging DeFi primitives;
    • Continuously improve code quality and internal tools.

    Requirements

    Must-have:

    • Strong programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, async, memory, etc.);
    • Experience with Rust (personal, academic, or professional projects);
    • Curiosity about DeFi or blockchain systems;
    • Willingness to learn and iterate fast;
    • Clear, structured thinking and communication.

    Nice-to-have:

    • Experience with Solana, Ethereum, or any L1/L2 blockchain;
    • Knowledge of smart contract security and DeFi protocols;
    • Experience with C/C++;
    • Contribution to open-source projects.

    What We Offer

    • Real ownership and influence on what you build;
    • Mentorship from experienced Rust and DeFi developers;
    • Access to high-level projects with real impact;
    • Competitive compensation (based on level and contribution);
    • Long-term growth path – from builder to architect, from contributor to leader.
    • Remote-first, flexible schedule, high-trust culture.

    How to Apply

    We don’t ask for great CVs or endless experience lists.
    What matters most is how you think and learn.

    Our process is simple:

    1. 1.5-hour cognitive test – built to reveal how you reason, solve problems, and learn new patterns.
    2. 1-hour call – to discuss your results and how you approach challenges.
    3. Meet with C-level – to explore how we can grow together.

    You’ll get your test results too, so you’ll better understand your own strengths – a real win-win.

    About QOVES

    We make software that helps patients and clinics diagnose, plan, and visualize how to improve their appearance. Our AI-driven tools are used by cosmetic medical clinics worldwide. We’re VC funded, profitable, and building the next evolution of our backend platform.

    This is a remote role for strong individual contributors. You’ll work alongside our core London team, focusing on executing backend improvements, resolving complex bugs, and implementing new services designed by our architecture group.

    We move quickly and value engineers who are meticulous, reliable, and thrive in a structured environment where every week brings a new system to strengthen or untangle.

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Fix real-world issues: investigate and patch production bugs such as segmentation failures, model timeouts, malformed API payloads, or broken async tasks β€” ensuring quick turnaround and robust solutions.
    • Implement new features and services: turn technical design docs or ADRs into working backend code β€” whether building FastAPI endpoints, integrating a queue consumer, or wiring up a new AI microservice.
    • Refactor and modernize legacy code: take older Django logic and gradually migrate it to cleaner, modular patterns (Celery workers, service boundaries, async APIs).
    • Maintain reliability: add metrics, tracing, and error handling so your fixes are observable and measurable in production.
    • Participate in small-scale refactors: support the architecture team by executing structured migration tasks (e.g., breaking monolith views into APIs, moving tasks into queues, adding retries).
    • Write clean, testable code: follow established patterns, maintain consistency, and document your work clearly for the next engineer.
    • Collaborate asynchronously: communicate clearly through PRs, design comments, and Slack updates across time zones.
    • Contribute to stability: help improve CI/CD pipelines, identify recurring issues, and propose tactical fixes that improve overall reliability.

    What You’ll Work With

    • Stack: Python, Django/DRF, FastAPI, Postgres (master + read replicas), Redis, Celery/RQ, RabbitMQ/SQS
    • Infra: Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, AWS, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, SigNoz/Grafana
    • Tools: Linear, Notion, Slack, internal CI/CD via Dokploy

    What You Bring

    • 5–10 years of backend development experience in Python (Django/DRF or FastAPI).
    • Strong debugging skills β€” you’re comfortable fixing production issues quickly and safely.
    • Experience executing from technical design docs or ADRs and delivering reliable, high-quality code.
    • Practical understanding of queues, background jobs, retries, idempotency, and distributed system basics.
    • Solid database knowledge β€” Postgres schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
    • Comfortable working asynchronously with teams across time zones.
    • Bonus: OpenCV or computer vision exposure, or experience integrating LLM/AI microservices.

    What Success Looks Like

    • You’ve resolved production issues that previously took hours to debug.
    • You’ve implemented a new backend service end-to-end following an ADR.
    • You’ve refactored messy legacy code into clean, testable modules.
    • You’ve added metrics that make performance bottlenecks visible and actionable.
    • You’ve earned trust by delivering stable, maintainable code week after week.

    Compensation & Setup

    • Competitive global salary
    • Equity options
    • Performance and quarterly bonuses
    • Home-office stipend & hardware budget
    • Learning and professional development support

    Remote-first. Preference for candidates within Β±4 hours of London (GMT).

    Applications Closing : 21st Oct

    C2 / Native English Required. Your communication skills are extremely important given this a remote role.
