We are an outsourcing company partnering with fintech businesses. The legal counsel role is focused on fintech and crypto compliance, contracts, and regulatory advisory. You’ll join the legal team working closely with product and business stakeholders across international projects.

Responsibilities:
Legal Research & Risk Management: Conduct in-depth legal research and assess regulatory and legal risks across the company’s operating jurisdictions;
Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements with a focus on contracts governed by foreign law and aligned with international legal standards;
Regulatory Reporting & Tax Matters: Prepare and support reporting to financial regulators and advise on tax exposure and related legal implications;
Intellectual Property Protection: Ensure protection of intellectual property rights, including copyright compliance and enforcement;
Licensing & Crypto Regulation: Provide legal support for licensing processes and ensure compliance with applicable crypto legislation and regulatory requirements;
Confidentiality & Risk Mitigation: Draft, review, and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Identify and mitigate legal risks in contracts and overall business operations;
Policy & Documentation Development: Develop, update, and maintain internal legal documentation and policies, including Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms of Service, and Provider Agreements;
Corporate & External Legal Coordination: Collaborate with external legal advisors and service providers on corporate governance, company structuring, and regulatory filings.

Requirements:
Professional Background: At least 5 years of hands-on legal practice in contract management within international business environments;
Regulatory & Jurisdictional Exposure:  Solid working knowledge of EU and Canada, legal frameworks, as well as other foreign jurisdiction as RSA, LatAm  regulatory environments;
Domain:  Background in Crypto Law, compliance, and regulated markets;
Soft skills: Analytical mindset with a focus on decision-making. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills;
Languages: Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher (both written and spoken);
Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with sound decision-making abilities. Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
