VoIP / IP Network Engineer (offline)

Requirements:

5 + years of Network Engineering experience and a Degree in Information Systems;
Understanding and working knowledge of IP routing and switching, specifically: VRF, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution, Spanning Tree, DSCP, MP-BGP, MPLS VPN (VPLS Layer 2, VPRN Layer 3 Option A and B, and Pseudowire PtP);
Understanding and working knowledge of carrier-grade VoIP infrastructure, specifically: Significant hosted PBXs platforms (Metaswitch or Broadsoft), Very-high CPS SBC clusters (Sansay, Acme, Sonus), End point devices (Polycom VVX, Cisco SPA and ATA, Grandstream);
Strong knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, and Adtran routers and switches;
Able to understand and analyze WireShark results to solve complex SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges;
Cisco CCNP (or equivalent knowledge);
At least intermediate English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

Design, administer, maintain and support the availability, performance and security of the network systems that include Routers, Firewalls, Switches, SBCs, PBX platforms, Circuits and servers;
SIP integration and configuration;
Analyze and evaluate network performance and provide solutions to optimize traffic flows, security, and processes;
Analyze network capacity issues and develop capacity planning models;
Troubleshoot, implement and administer network systems as well as provide level III network support along with executing and developing network security guidelines;
In this role you will report to the Director of Network Engineering while acting as the escalation point to other team members;
Able to create and modify security policies on routers, switches, and firewalls.
