Senior Configuration Engineer (DevOps) with DEV background (offline)

Project Description:

The project team is closely working with Digital Industrial company, operating in 160 countries and providing solutions in energy, healthcare, and transportation.
The team develops and supports Continuous Integration infrastructure to the Energy Management products family to satisfy customers by early and reliable delivery of high quality software that improves energy management capabilities and enables significant energy savings.
WAMS is a Smart Grid solution for system operators and power transmission companies. As power companies face ever-increasing pressure to operate power systems closer to limits. Phasor-based WAMS can enable an operator to quickly localize potential instability issues and take prompt action to avoid a wider disturbance in the grid.
Ideally we need strong CI/CD engineer DevOps with development background (familiar with .NET/Spring microservice pipeline builds)
Responsibilities:

∙ Jenkins/Propel build pipelines setup
∙ Ability to setup a Docker registry
∙ Able to setup K8s cluster and Grafana, and any other tools to detect failure
∙ Configure build and test environments manually and with automation scripts
∙ Monitor infrastructure health, report issues and statuses
∙ Daily communication with customer
Mandatory Skills:

∙ Familiar with .NET Core microservice pipeline builds
∙ Familiar with Spring microservice pipeline builds
∙ Experience with script languages: Groovy/Powershell/cmd/sh/Perl.
∙ Hands-on experience with git
∙ Basic knowledge in Jenkins / TeamCity
∙ Deep knowledge of Jenkins CI. Types of projects, pipelines, declarative/script syntax, administration, security.
∙ Good troubleshooting and investigation skills.
∙ Understanding C/C++ compilation
Nice-to-Have Skills:

∙ CI/CD - Jenkins, Github hooks, create environments,
∙ Devops (K8, Terraform, Docker, etc.)
∙ Developer skills (Java or .NET)
∙ Experience in C++/C# code building in and/or gcc
∙ Understanding of containerization (Docker) and micro service architecture
∙ Understanding virtualization technology by VMWare.
∙ Linux administration. Preferable RHEL based.
∙ Good soft-skills
