Qlikview/Qliksense Developer (ID: 8524) (offline)

We are looking for a Qlikview/Qliksense Developer to join our Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence and help us to discover the information hidden in our vast amounts of data and to drive the growth of our new Advanced Analytics team.

The Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence is part of the Solution Development Team.
Its objective is to implement, develop and industrialize all BICS Advanced Data Analytics developments and Use Cases. This covers internal usage Use Cases such as the optimization of our business through innovative algorithm applied to our internal data, and also customer-focused Use Cases by developing an innovative solution over the data of our network.

As a Qlik developer, you will create (Qliksense) and maintain (Qlikview) reports to support our different business lines. You will collaborate closely with analysts and business people. Within the next 2 years, we also want to migrate all existing reports from Qlikview into Qliksense.

Areas of Responsibility
* Develop Qlikview/Qliksense reports most of the time
* Optionally guide a junior developer

Qualifications
* Advanced skills in Qlikview 11/12 (Designer & Developer)
* Advanced skills in Qliksense (Designer & Developer)
* Practical experience in performance tuning and scalability
* Advanced knowledge of general DWH and BI concepts
* Advanced knowledge of data modelling
* Strong proven experience with big volumes of data
* Ability to put forward a valid technical Qlikview solution

Will be an advantage
* Experience with JavaScript
* Experience with SAP connector for QlikView, VB scripting, QMC API, QlikView extensions, nPrinting
* Version Manager or WIP
* Experience with other reporting tools
* Experience in telecom and financial sector

Personal Skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills are mandatory (English is mandatory, French or Dutch is an advantage)
* Well-developed skill of analysis to capture/understand business requirements delivered by BICS (international carrier service business)
* Enthusiasm about IT and ability to think outside the box
* Experience with an agile way of collaboration.
