Senior/Lead Python Engineer (offline)

Requirements:

Proficiency with Python
Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as Lambda, API Gateway, AWS IoT, Kinesis Data Streams, Cognito, etc.
Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g. MongoDB (preferable experience with AWS DocumentDB)
Knowledge and experience with Elasticsearch
Proven ability to mentor and push towards high-quality delivery
Upper-Intermediate English

Nice to have:

Sufficient experience to use modern CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD
Experience building content delivery systems, specifically understanding the complications associated with internationalization

Responsibilities:

Engineering and coding the solution as a serverless system on AWS
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
For a senior developer and team leader: Managing the day-to-day activities of the team
Work closely with AI/ML team to ensure innovations
Ensuring the goals are met and ensuring the quality of the code via a standard code review process
Working according to scrum process: biweekly sprints, demos, retrospectives, planning meetings.

Short and mid-term development goals:
Engineering and building Sleep Learning system that finds patterns and correlations
Developing optimal API for integration with smart bed and controlling devices
