Product Manager / Business Analyst (offline)

ManageBac is a world leader in international education SaaS systems and services, serving over 600,000+ students across 2,300 schools in over 120 countries through our flagship service ManageBac, a curriculum first learning platform developed by our core product team in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, and Lviv.

As a part of ManageBac R&D team, this position is responsible for the functional and technical design specifications for initiatives adding new features and functionality to our revamped version of the company's in-house CRM platform, that we have developed for replacement of SalesForce. The platform consolidates CRM, billing, and provisioning functions on a single platform.

Required skills

— 5+ years previous experience designing, architecting, developing, implementing, supporting and integrating business solutions;
— 3+ years previous hands-on leadership in design, architecture, implementation, and deployment of application solutions platforms;
— Previous experience working with users developing business requirements;
— Understanding of agile development processes (e.g. Scrum) and proactive participation as BA in such process;
— Experience with project management and associated tools including Jira;
— Gathering of requirements from multiple stakeholders;
— Fluent verbal and written English for communication and creating documentation;
— Understanding of web protocols, messaging protocols and web data formats: HTTP, TCP, SOAP, WSDL, JSON, etc.;
— Proven knowledge of UML/BPMN;
— Strong analytical and system thinking skills;

As a plus

— Working knowledge, experience with, and/or developing systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications;
— Good understanding of SaaS types products and Fintech market;
— Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

— Works with stakeholders to fully understand the business requirements and gain a complete understanding of the business strategy.
— Managing product backlogs and versions according to Scrum methodology
— Leads analysis of business requirements to determine impact on existing processes and systems, utilizing advanced knowledge of process/systems and other transferable skills.
— Prepares associated documentation, such as Process Design Document, Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications.
— Understanding the goals and business needs of an organization and recommending potential solutions
— Communicating and representing requirements to stakeholders throughout solution development
— Evaluating the value being delivered by new and existing solutions
— Instructs directs and checks the work of other team members.
