AI Engineer .NET and Azure

$

You're early in your career but already past the tutorial stage; you've shipped something real, and you can explain why you built it the way you did.

Essential

  • Solid in at least one of C#/.NET or TypeScript/Node. We haven't locked the stack and you'll help decide it, so depth in one matters more than breadth across both.
  • Comfortable with relational data modelling and SQL. You can reason about a schema, not just query one.
  • Some cloud exposure, ideally Azure. You don't need to have architected anything; you need to not be scared of it.
  • Git, branches, pull requests, and the habit of writing tests.
  • You read documentation before asking, and you ask before guessing.

How we work with AI

Claude Code is a primary development tool here, not an experiment. But we don't ship code nobody understands. You'll be expected to review what the AI produces as critically as you'd review a colleague's pull request; reject it, rewrite it, question the approach. If you can't explain a line in your own PR, it doesn't merge.

That means this role will make you a better engineer faster than most junior jobs, provided you treat the AI as a very fast collaborator rather than an oracle.

Nice to have

Payments or fintech exposure, document processing or OCR, LLM API work beyond chat, React, customs or logistics domain knowledge.

Not required

Years of experience, a CS degree, or prior agent-framework work.
