QA Automation, manual (Windows App)

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial QA experience
• English: Intermediate+
• Hands-on experience testing Windows desktop applications
• Strong test automation experience
• Playwright + TypeScript
• Experience with functional, regression and release testing
• CI/CD experience
• Ability to independently investigate failures and maintain reliable automated tests
   

What you’ll work on

• Functional and regression testing of a Windows application
• Building and maintaining automated regression tests
• Electron UI automation with Playwright
• Testing installation and application upgrades on Windows 10/11
• Testing integrations, OCR/element detection and desktop-specific scenarios
• Maintaining automated tests in CI and investigating flaky/failed runs
• Gradually reducing repetitive manual regression through automation
   

Nice to have

• Electron
• C#/.NET testing
• Windows UI Automation or other Windows-specific automation tools
• OCR / computer vision testing
• GitHub Actions
• Experience testing installers, application updates or multi-monitor scenarios
