Senior DWH/BI Developer (offline)

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in DWH development;
• Deep knowledge of SQL and some DBMS procedural language (PL SQL, SQL PL, T-SQL, pgPL/SQL, etc.);
• Experience in ETL development and DWH architecture;
• Experience in BI and reporting;
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN;
• English level: Intermediate.

Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of JS is preferable.

Responsibilities:
• Determine data requirements by interviewing customers; analyze business requirements and applications; evaluate existing systems, hardware, and software; define and analyze data sources; validate data required; document requirements.
• Develop data strategies by establishing integrated architecture and hierarchy; establish metadata and modeling standards; develop and evaluate logical and physical models; define ETL strategies.
• Analyze data by defining quality requirements; assess data quality, availability, and change data capture.
• Implement data schema by developing program, process, procedure, and quality solutions for data acquisition, extraction, cleansing, transformation, integration, loading, and replication; develop filtering, formatting, and data delivery processes to data marts; build SQL code, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Design interfaces by developing visualization and access methods; design application reports and testing.
• Maintain database performance by completing SQL performance tuning; support system operation cycle; coordinate requirements and actions between applications and operate area staffs; monitor standards.

You will be working with the Customer that owns and operates several of the most popular and award-winning brands in cable television in USA producing and delivering distinctive, compelling and culturally relevant content that engages audiences across multiple platforms.

About the Project:
Currently we are looking for a Senior DWH/BI Developer responsible for ETL, reports, data warehouse architecture. Primary focus will be on schema design, development and performance tuning of stored procedures, maintenance of existing and creation of new reports and ETLs. After deep involvement into business area design and development of dataset-processing related parts of application servers will be in responsibilities too.

Oksana, Project Manager: Our team provides BI Services with canned and Ad-Hoc Reporting features, complex Web Applications for researching and visualizing results of data mining and forecasting.
Team has major influence on DWH Architecture and ETL processes approaches in a growing and changing Data Warehouse.
