Senior Microsoft SQL Developer (offline)

KM-Ware is looking a Microsoft SQL Server Development DBA to work closely with our product team. We’re looking for a person who will be an active participant in team discussions, planning, architecture and development.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with our application developers on Datawarehouse, database architecture, query design, PowerBI and Reports development.
• You will ensure that new database code meets company standards for readability, reliability and performance.
• You will design reports and integration packages based on requirements provided by the development and customer service teams.
• You will pro-actively monitor query performance and provide developers with suggested ways to optimize the queries that are most resource-intensive.
• Other Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Datawarehouse design and development or/and PowerBI
- SQL Server development: SSRS reports, multidimensional Cube and Analysis Services (SSAS), SSIS
- Performing troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis for database and application specific incidents.

Required skills:
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Development on systems up through 2012.
• Experience writing and improving SQL Server T-SQL queries for at least 2 years, either as a DBA or application developer.
• Experience with SSRS and SSAS is a must – experience with SSIS is a plus.
• Experience working with a high concurrency OLTP workload, highly-available publicly-facing application environments powered by SQL Server.
• Understanding of wait statistics, root cause analysis and blocking resolution.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy and sometimes demanding technical environment.
• English — Upper Intermediate level and up (free in communication)
