Skills and Qualifications:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in software development and/ or outsourcing industry as HR or talent acquisition director
- You have a strong business, financial and human resources acumen
- You have a strong experience leading teams and activities pertaining to attraction and recruitment, engagement, learning and development, talent management, succession planning
- You are a strategic business thinker who can think, plan, envision and strategize 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months, without losing the focus on the current business needs and priorities
- You possess strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- You have high energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to excite and lead your subordinates, peers, and founders of the business
- You are excellent in active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- You are fluent in English – both verbal and written
- You are hands-on and demonstrate “roll up your sleeves” mentality

Responsibilities:

- Take part in regular meetings with the founders and leadership team about the future, mission, goals, and overall strategy of the company
- Develop and implement an integrated HR strategy, as part of the overall company strategy, that addresses all major HR areas, with additional attention to talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, compensation, and rewards
- Define, prioritize, and execute quarterly and annual strategic HR initiatives to ensure that HR is hitting the appropriate goals and KPIs
- Scale the HR team (both recruiters and generalists) to address current needs and ensure we attract and hire the right people to fuel business growth. We are looking to fill a variety of engineering positions in the short term, with accelerating expansion throughout this year and into the future
- Develop recruiters and HR generalists, including coaching, mentoring and building out our capability to effectively grow the business and enhance the employee experience
- Help establish a culture and drive employee engagement by analyzing trends, identifying and addressing people-related risks and issues, guiding and helping internal stakeholders to address performance management, developing and implementing change initiatives
- Establish continuous improvement of HR-related systems, processes, policies

What should you expect:

- In the first 30 days on the job, you will establish relationships with our leadership team, take over the existing HR and Acquisition team, get familiar with our lines of business, organizational structure, HR processes, and tools. You will contribute to the strategic discussion with the leadership team on the broad company and HR strategy and will narrow the strategy down to concrete quarterly and annual plans/ initiatives based on the HR team’s priorities and resource constraints. You will clearly explain the rationale of your recommendations and rely on your professional and emotional maturity to conduct an informed business dialogue with founders and managers

- By the end of the first quarter, you will fully internalize and own your quarterly and annual goals/ KPIs and will clearly see how they fall into the bigger picture of the company's goals and KPIs of other leaders, teams, and employees. You will have full ownership of all HR processes with 60% of your time concentrating on initiatives that drive efficiencies in recruiting and 40% on improvements in retention rates for existing employees. You will report the results of your and your team’s work and be measured by objective KPIs. You will work with other top managers to analyze leading and lagging KPIs to understand and envision what will be going on with the HR organization, the business and the reasons for such trends

- By month six and onward, you will make a significant contribution to the company-wide initiative to implement an operating system for real-time monitoring and control of the company's operations and resources - EOS. You will co-lead change management to make sure every person in the organization knows what is expected of him/her, understands KPIs and expectations, knows where he/she stands against those expectations and is aware of tools and resources that exist to help employees develop both professionally and personally
