Backend NestJS Engineer to $4000

We’re hiring a Backend Developer with strong experience in NestJS (TypeScript) to support a high-performance platform for real-time data processing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean architecture, working in cross-functional teams, and building scalable backend services.

About the Company & Project

We develop AI-powered data infrastructure that helps organizations unlock insights from real-time streams. Our platform enables predictive analytics and intelligent automation at scale. You’ll join a backend-focused team working with microservices deployed in AWS.

Your main responsibility will be developing and maintaining NestJS/TypeScript services. Occasionally, you’ll need to read and understand Python code to ensure smooth service communication — no Python development is required.

Tech Stack

NestJS (TypeScript), PostgreSQL, AWS, Kafka Streams, Java

(Python is used in adjacent services — read-only interaction)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using NestJS

• Ensure smooth integration with adjacent services

• Contribute to architecture decisions and reliability improvements

• Occasionally review Python code to understand service behavior

• Collaborate with other teams working in Java and Kafka

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS / TypeScript

• Ability to read and understand Python code if needed

• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)

• English level B2 or higher
