Tech lead UI Javascript developer (offline)

The company is a conglomerate of several trading systems and is looking to consolidate their UI platforms onto Openfin and unify their users' experience. This involves real time connections to servers to display ticking instrument prices on the UI, so there are some interesting performance requirements that need to be solved. This role will require senior developers as the prototype has very senior attention within the company and is seen as the future face of the platform.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the team implementing high quality clean code Javascript using SOLID design principles and design patterns where appropriate. A self-starter attitude is important as there will be no formal BA or requirements gathering process, it will be agile in the true sense of the word. However this will mean the development team are highly responsible for the quality of the code they deliver, as the prototype will not be a throw away piece of code, it will form the basis of the next generation of the platform.
Mandatory Skills:
Must have:
• UI Team lead experience
• Javascript es6
• Typescript
• NodeJS
• GIT

• Understanding of Dom manipulation and JavaScript object model.
• Good understanding of OO programming and functional programming.
• Solid understanding of design patterns software engineering general principles.
• Strong HTML5 skills
• Knowledge of CSS3 and CSS pre-processors (Sass or LESS).
• Experience of working in an agile environment with familiarity of continuous integration and associated techniques.
• Unit Testing with Jest, Enzyme and knowledge of TDD.
