Sales Team Lead (Upwork)

What you'll be working on:

🎯 Lead qualification & negotiations – No fluff, just deals.

📈 Hitting (and exceeding) KPIs – Because sales without numbers are just networking.

🤝 Managing the lead generation team – Keeping them efficient, focused, and bringing in quality leads.

🏗 Optimizing pre-sale materials – If it doesn’t help close deals, it goes.

📝 Tracking sales activities – Because data beats gut feeling every time.

💡 Tuning sales strategies based on real metrics – Adapt, improve, repeat.

 

Experience that will help you to do the job:

  • Proven success in Upwork sales – You’ve done it, and you know how to win deals.
  • Deep understanding of the Upwork sales funnel – You know the rules, the tricks, and how to play the game.
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Sales Manager – At least 3 years in B2B sales, preferably in outsourcing/outstaffing.
  • Strong negotiation skills with clients – You don’t just talk, you close.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher – Written and spoken, because clear communication wins deals.
  • Understanding of mobile & web development, AI
  • Sales techniques & objection handling – You know how to turn a "no" into a "let’s talk."
  • A passion for sales, a results-driven mindset, attention to detail, and a strong desire to make money – Because that’s what top performers do.

     

Experience that will be a plus:

  • Creative makings for creating pre-sale materials in Canva
  • Proficiency in any task management tool like Asana, Trello, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with ChatGPT
  • Experience of outbound sales on LinkedIn
