Manual QA Engineer

And we're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to establish QA processes from scratch and ensure top-notch software quality.

What you will do:

— Establish and optimise QA processes from scratch, ensuring a structured and efficient approach to testing and quality assurance.

— Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, checklists, and test plans to validate web applications' functionality, usability, and performance.

— Identify, document, and track bugs using task management tools, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and product improvements.

— Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger to verify system integrations and backend functionalities.

— Assess UX/UI quality by evaluating user flows, accessibility, and design consistency to enhance user experience.

— Leverage browser DevTools to analyse network activity, debug issues, and optimise application performance.

— Conduct performance and security testing to ensure web applications are robust, scalable, and resistant to vulnerabilities.

— Test integrations with third-party services and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and system compatibility.

— Actively communicate and collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers, providing valuable feedback and advocating for best QA practices.

— Utilize AI-powered tools to streamline test execution, automate documentation, and generate insightful reports for continuous process improvement.

About you:
— 4+ years of experience in web application testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

— Expertise with testing web subscriptions, maintaining proper payment flows, renewals, and cancellations.

— Experience testing web applications across different browsers and devices, ensuring cross-compatibility and responsiveness.

— Proficiency in working with HTTP Proxy tools (Proxyman, Charles) for network traffic analysis and debugging.

— Experience with Test Case Management Systems (TestRail) to organise and track test execution effectively.

— Experience in setting up and optimising QA processes from scratch, defining workflows and best practices.

— Strong expertise in test documentation, including writing test cases, checklists, and test plans.

— Practical experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate testing, automate repetitive tasks, and optimise documentation processes.

— Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its impact on testing processes.

— Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and hybrid environments, ensuring smooth collaboration and adaptability.

— Good command of English.

Will be a plus:

— Basic knowledge of SQL for data verification in the database.

— Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at a code-reading level.

— Experience in testing mobile apps.
