WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a skilled and creative Mechanical Engineer with experience in enclosure design for electronic devices and thermal management calculations. Your role will involve developing plastic and metal enclosures, conducting thermal analysis, and selecting the optimal air or liquid cooling solution.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Lead and drive the mechanical side of the product
- Discover and use modern practices and solutions
- Develop plastic and metal enclosures for electronic devices, ensuring mechanical strength and manufacturability.
- Evaluate and select the optimal cooling system (air or liquid) based on preliminary heat dissipation requirements.
- Optimize enclosure designs for mass production.
- Integrate off-the-shelf components into enclosure designs, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
- Develop and test prototypes to validate mechanical and thermal performance.
- Work closely with electronics engineers and manufacturing partners to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and cooling solutions.
- Create manufacturing documentation and collaborate with production teams.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in electronic product development (consumer electronics, security systems, automotive electronics, smart devices, medical equipment, etc.), with a proven track record of mass-produced products.
- Strong expertise in electro-mechanical system design, including the integration of electronic components into mechanical assemblies.
- Full product development lifecycle experience, from concept to mass production, with a focus on design for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability.
- Deep knowledge of plastic injection molding and mold tooling principles, as well as metal and rubber processing technologies.
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, but experience with CATIA, NX, Inventor is also considered) and the ability to develop 3D models and engineering drawings in compliance with industry standards.
- Expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and technical calculations for precision mechanical design.
- Experience collaborating with manufacturing partners, understanding mass production constraints and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience in prototyping, including 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining, for rapid design validation and iteration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex mechanical systems into modular and manageable components.
- Self-driven, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
