Backend Developer

Location: Ukraine, Ukrainian abroad (USA timezone).

Type of work: remote, full time employment.
Contract Type: Direct freelance contract.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Backend Developer (mid to senior level) to build and scale the backend infrastructure for our crypto trading platform. You will be working with Rust, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Solana's ecosystem, designing high-performance, scalable backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable server architectures in Rust and deploy them on AWS.
• Develop robust data processing pipelines for blockchain data with a focus on reliability and low latency.
• Build real-time monitoring, automated transaction execution, and token balance analytics.

• Optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL and Timescale to ensure efficient data retrieval.

   

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development (Mid to Senior level).
• Proficiency in Rust, Node.js, TypeScript, or a strong interest in learning Rust.
• Experience designing performant backend systems, ideally in finance or trading.
• Knowledge of blockchain ecosystems, particularly Solana and AMMs.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate+ or Advanced/Fluent (both speaking and writing)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first, asynchronous team.
