The client is building a platform that uses AI to help YouTube channel owners to optimize their content, thumbnails, titles etc. The app is in between the prototype and MVP stage.


Requirements

Looking for a Full-stack engineer to jump in and help polish the MVP of the product.

More immediate tasks would include polishing the front end of the app.

Once that's done, the engineer will be tasked with investigating and finding a solution for how to obtain certain data from YouTube that the application needs to function and establish necessary integrations.

They use:

  • Next.js for the front-end framework;
  • Tailwind CSS for styling;
  • Firebase for the backend, including Firebase Functions which are written in Node.js;
  • Python for data science tasks like model training and event handling;
  • Poetry for Python package management.

 

Additional requirements

English: Upper-intermediate+

Knowledge of how to obtain channel performance data from YouTube;

Experience in building Google Chrome extensions;

A keen eye for UI/UX and capability to implement FE features without design files;

Interest and experience in data science/analysis, especially using Python.
