IT Support Specialist
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support and Operations Specialist to manage the IT needs of our office. This person will ensure seamless hardware and software functionality, assist with onboarding processes, and handle IT equipment procurement. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to office employees, resolving laptop, computer, and software issues.
- Prepare and configure hardware and software for new employee onboarding.
- Purchase, track, and manage IT equipment, ensuring availability and compatibility.
- Set up and maintain multimedia projectors and other office technology.
- Reinstall or troubleshoot software as needed, keeping systems up-to-date and functional.
- Assist with network devices, including routers, to maintain connectivity and performance.
- Collaborate with external IT service providers when required.
Skills we are looking for:
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT procurement and inventory management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
- Organizational skills to manage onboarding and equipment processes efficiently.
