Windows DevOps (Intermediate or Senior) (offline)

Responsibilities:
You will work in a combined team consisting of SoftServe and client internal engineers heavy on traditional DevOps automation disciplines and skill set. Main responsibilities will be managing Jenkins, automating deployment process through Ansible, writing the Chef cookbooks for the configuration of different nodes (Windows Server 2012 R2), storages (HP 3Par), DBs (Microsoft SQL 12 (2014 SP3 CU1) Server cluster) and other systems. You will need the knowledge of Python and PowerShell for automating script in Jenkins. The main application will live in the VMWare (VMWare vSphere, vCloud Director Solution & NSX-V).

Tech stack:
Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Python, PowerShell, Artifactory, VMWare, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL

Requirements:
- Experience with Chef, Ansible, Jenkins
- Knowledge of Python and PowerShell languages for automating scripts in Jenkins
- Solid understanding of the provisioning hardware and the deployment of the software
- Windows administration experience
- Knowledge of Ruby, mainly for Chef will be a plus
- Experience with Azure and AWS cloud providers will be a plus

Soft Skills and Abilities:
- Communicate with Client’s stakeholders directly on a daily basis, participate in project meetings
- Problem-solving skills, ability to look for solutions, to research and find a way to deal with issues
- Coordinate work with other team members on the client side
- Ability and desire to learn new things quickly
