AWS Data Engineer (offline)

We seek a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS services, particularly Database Migration Service (DMS), EventBridge, and Glue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing cloud-based solutions and implementing ETL pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement AWS Solutions:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on DMS and Glue
  • Support and extend existing infrastructure, improve cost efficiency
  • Implement ETL pipelines for data processing, transformation, and integration.
  • Work with SQL, non-SQL, and other data sources 

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for using AWS services.
  • Collect stats and generate reports on system performance, migration progress, and other relevant metrics.

   

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, specifically DMS, EventBridge, and Glue.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
• Experience:
  • 3 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience in building and managing event-driven architectures using AWS EventBridge.
  • Experience in creating ETL processes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
