DevOps Engineer (offline)

Devico is looking for a motivated and talented DevOps Engineer with commercial experience of at least 3+ years to join to our team on a full-time basis.

About project:

The project focuses on developing highly automated and AI-driven carbon management solutions. These solutions empower businesses to achieve compliance with environmental regulations, reduce emissions, and simultaneously create value. By leveraging advanced technologies, we aim to streamline carbon management processes and facilitate sustainable practices for our clients.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipeline.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security using DataDog.
  • Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases.
  • Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Automate and streamline operations and processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
     

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Experience with AWS CDK (on the project using CDK, in Node.js)
  • Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipeline.
  • Expertise in monitoring and performance management using DataDog.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Level of English: Upper-intermediate and higher.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Experience with other monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with other CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
