Product Manager (offline)

BETER is a rapidly growing product company. We create competitive content supplemented with analytics.
For more than 6 years we have been organizing sports and esports tournaments, broadcasts, and developing our own sports community. We hold 35+ thousand events per month in esports and classic sports.
BETER products are known all over the world - our content is represented in 152 countries with an audience of 20+ million viewers. Our current partners are the world’s most famous trading giants.

Now BETER is looking for a Product Manager to help with the development of our products. The platform provides 24/7 commercial tournaments and a community of players and fans.
We empower sports with our own software: a tournament management system. It is a resource for supporting the whole process of organizing and conducting tournaments. The main features are management of teams, players, tournament rules and schedules, determining the winners, and game statistics. 

About the role:

As the Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning and execution of successful product initiatives such as new projects, directions, product portfolio enhancement and disciplines. This includes understanding and prioritizing product and customer needs, defining product goals, and working closely with engineering, IT, operations,  and stakeholders.
Your first step in this role will be to learn the sports and esports betting domain and all other company products to have a clear vision of the value we deliver. We expect you to set up effective business processes during the first months to maintain product development and growth.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Define the product vision, and strategy, and form a product roadmap;
  • Prepare cost & value analysis for projects;
  • Justify and pitch the products to the CEO and stakeholders;
  • Generate product improvement ideas based on the market, customer, and technical insight and prove them with business cases;
  • Work collaboratively with the IT department to define clear and unambiguous business requirements and development processes;
  • Define & analyze metrics to articulate and measure value;
  • Provide own expertise in the industry for convent creation within betting best practices;
  • Analyze and improve current system for scaling internal projects;
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in the betting industry and help conduct competitive analysis, identifying areas for improvement and potential growth;
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy;
  • Collaborate with teams and other PMs to establish processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Finalize and support the development of new product verticals together with constant support of existing product lines.
  • Define budget, cash flow and technical adjustments, as well as testify the project for a roadmap realization.  

Requirements:

- Passion for the entertainment and sports space;
- 3+ years of product management experience in the betting industry;
- Experience with product leadership and teams;         

- Experience in the development of strategic innovative projects and scaling of long-term projects.
- Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience;
- Experience defining and measuring engagement metrics;
- Strategic thinking;       - Deep understanding and knowledge of the sports betting industry, up to date with the latest trends;
- Industry insights research skills;
- Solid skills in product metrics analysis, and product KPIs generation;
- Prioritization frameworks knowledge and usage;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- English level - at least upper-intermediate;
- Experienced user of Atlassian.
