Head of Finance

We seek a Head of Finance who will oversee the organization's financial operations, strategy, and compliance. His/her leadership will be instrumental in managing financial resources, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing the financial insight necessary to support the company's continued growth and profitability in the cable installation and construction industry.

 

Responsibilities:

- Financial leadership: develop, implement, and oversee financial strategies to meet the company's financial goals; monitor and analyze financial performance; and recommend strategies for improvement.

- Financial reporting and analysis: prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts; ensure timely and accurate submission to internal and external stakeholders.

- Payroll supervision: Ensure that salaries, wages, and all kinds of bonuses are paid on time and accurately.

- Accounting records monitoring: manage the flow of documents that can be accessed within prescribed time limits.

- Team leadership: set clear performance expectations and objectives for team members; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.

- Risk management: identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and financial stability.

- Cash flow management: manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources to meet operational needs.

- Strategic planning: contribute to developing the company's strategic plans and financial objectives.

- Budget planning: ensure the budgets are created and compared to actual numbers.

- Regulatory compliance: stay up-to-date with industry-specific financial regulations and ensure compliance.

 

Requirements:

- Higher education (Finance, accounting, or related field);

- 5+ years in finance;

- 2+ years of leadership role(s) in finance; proven team leadership abilities;

- experience with startups would be a plus;

- experience within the telecommunication industry or a similar field would be a plus;

- experience with the US market would be a huge plus;

- QuickBooks – 2+ years of professional experience;

- English level C1 and upper.
