Human Resources Specialist (For Marketing department)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team and support our growing business operations in the wealth consulting and marketing/video production sectors. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, regulations, and industry-specific requirements, with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the wealth consulting and marketing/video production fields.

 

Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry associations.

 

Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.

 

Onboarding and Training:

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles and the company culture.

 

Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in wealth consulting, marketing, and video production.

 

Collaborate with department heads to develop customized training materials and resources.

 

Employee Relations and Performance Management:

Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.

 

Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

 

Manage the performance evaluation process, including goal setting, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans.

 

Benefits Administration:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other financial perks.

Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

 

Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:

Stay up-to-date on employment laws, regulations, and industry standards related to wealth consulting, marketing, and video production.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws governing employment practices, data privacy, and workplace safety.

 

Employee Engagement and Wellness Programs:

Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.

Organize team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition events to foster a positive work culture.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (is a plus)

3+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in the financial services industry and/or marketing/video production field.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR software applications.
