Senior/Lead Python developer (offline) $3500-5000

We are a product team that doesn't deal with layout and landing pages, but develops and maintains SAAS solutions. We do this qualitatively, focusing not only on adding features but also on the "internal quality": we think through the architecture of solutions, don't forget about code reviews, and repay technical debt. We strive to increase the stability and simplicity of supporting our solutions, dedicating time to this on all projects, not just on business features. We don't take on all projects indiscriminately, but only those that interest us.

One of our clients is XAgency, a company that develops AI-based business solutions. Their projects are currently being worked on by a team of 5 Python developers. During a team call, the team members decided that the tasks being set for us require more knowledge and experience than we have, and we need to find a Python lead to help us with architectural solutions.

Mandatory requirements:

1) Deep understanding of application architecture principles, including not only web applications but also other types of applications. Skills in team workflow analysis and error detection are key.

2) Significant experience in developing systems in Python, exceeding the scope of creating simple websites.

3) Advanced knowledge of Python web frameworks, either FastAPI or Django REST (DRF).

4) Understanding of server operation, experience in their configuration and maintenance (at least on pet projects).

5) Excellent proficiency in English as a tool for professional communication.

It would be cool if you also have:

Experience with micro services architecture and typical tooling for it (API gateway, tracing, etc.).

Understanding of application development using LLM (OpenAI API, Langchain, and others).

Real experience with LLM (even if it's just hobby projects).

Laravel/Symfony/NestJS/Golang/Python — for backends

React + NextJS + Ant Design for web frontend

Flutter for mobile applications

Python — for products using LangChain

Compensation:

Salary range: $3500-$5000

4 weeks of paid vacation per year

Paid sick leave without certificates

Paid holidays, including New Year holidays

Overtime is considered bad practice, but we recognize and pay for it at x1.5 rate.
