Product Manager (Blockchain)

Development for Runes/Ordinals/BRC-20 ecosystem.
We are developing an ecosystem for the Bitcoin ecosystem, which includes the first Runes DeX, Bridge Between Runes/Ordinals/BRC-20 and EVM, Runes scanner, and a lot of others.

Project stack: Bitcoin script, Ordinals, AWS, ReactJS

Team on the project: Frontend, Bitcoin Developer, Bitcoin architect, 2x DevOps, PM, Designer, Layout Developer, QA

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, working with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, reliable shipping momentum
• 3+ years of experience in DeFi space
• Deep knowledge of DeFi, crypto communities, and knowledge of traditional finance products.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
• Strategic in outlook yet detailed in execution, balancing broad vision with precision in detail
• Skilled in interpersonal relations, adept at navigating interactions with a wide spectrum of personalities
• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English

Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Leadership:

• Define and drive the short-term and long-term product strategy for decentralized exchange (DeX) platforms, aligning with business objective
• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on user needs, market trends, and technical feasibility

Product Development and Delivery:

• Gather and synthesize user needs and feedback through frequent research and testing to define detailed product requirements for DeFi financial products
• Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure the feasibility and timely execution of products, from inception through launch
• Build and utilize data-driven models to analyze financial product performance, risk, and market viability

Process and Documentation Management:

• Develop and refine product management processes and documentation to educate both users and internal stakeholders on product changes, features, and functionality
• Lead the creation of user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives
• Manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring all products meet rigorous testing standards before release

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:

• Maintain continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including tech leadership, developers, and community members such as Set Protocol, Index Coop DAO, and the Set community
• Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations throughout the product delivery process

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

• Oversee manual testing of DeX products, smart contracts, and DApps, ensuring all development work is dev-tested, merge-ready, and coordinated with relevant stakeholders for release cycles
• Proactively manage risks, resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality, and implement corrective actions to mitigate impact
• Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed performance standards
• Continuously guide and improve process controls within the development team, aligning efforts with other product owners and contributing to the broader product domain to enhance the organization’s capacity for delivering reliable, high-quality products
