Senior Backend/Database Engineer

Introduction:
Are you a trailblazer in the world of databases and backend systems? We’re seeking a Senior Backend & Database Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of a new relational database system. This new system will help us overcome the limitations of our current setup, enhancing scalability and performance. Responsibilities:
Design and develop a scalable relational database system from the ground up.
Analyze current database limitations and propose robust solutions to enhance functionality and performance.
Ensure the implementation of industry-standard coding practices throughout the development process.
Work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate new database solutions with existing systems.
Maintain and upgrade the database as needed, ensuring high reliability and optimal performance.

Requirements:
Solid expertise in backend development, proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Experience with an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language.
Some experience with Python, sufficient to support backend tasks and integrations.
Proficient in API development, including REST API design and implementation with a focus on security and authentication.
Extensive experience in designing and managing relational databases, with a proven track record of developing database schemas from the ground up.
In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and transparency in data handling and API interactions.
Demonstrated ability to lead database projects, acting as the architect to build and scale robust systems.
Ability to deliver high-quality work swiftly, balancing speed with attention to detail and maintaining standards under tight timelines.
Experience with cloud services such as Vercel and Google Cloud, demonstrating basic DevOps skills.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, ensuring automated and reliable code delivery pipelines.
Knowledge of Git and familiarity with the Gitflow Workflow, ensuring efficient version control and team collaboration.
Experience with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript, to ensure smooth integration with backend systems.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Airtable, especially understanding its limitations and workarounds.
Experience in creating and managing Telegram bots.
