2D Environment Artist (offline) $600-1800

A young and creative studio is forming a professional team to develop a stylized game for mobile platforms. Our team believes in the power of visual impact and stylization in 3D graphics. We are currently seeking a talented 2D Environment Artist to join our project and help create unique and captivating gameplay locations for board racing. The project involves part-time work, whether hourly or project-based. We are looking for a person for long-term cooperation.

Requirements:
- Work with Photoshop
- 2+ years of experience creating 2D art
- Solid understanding of composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling
- Understanding of Texel density
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other team members

Will be a plus:
- Experience with 3D
- Setting up the light and materials with future hand paint rendering in Blender
- Understanding of the game engine work process

Responsibilities:
- Keeping an art style project
- Paint Environment and props for game locations
- Collaborating with other development team members to ensure a shared vision of the project
- Be innovative
- Utilising lighting to create the atmosphere and mood of the game
- Participating in the development of objects from inception to completion.
